I am a percussionist, i do not consider myself a drummer, i don't have those skills yet. I have played congas and bongos for many years, but have only been playing with sticks for a year. Most of my videos are first takes, and I listen to them later, usually while I am at work. Any and all comments, suggestions, requested songs or artists, are welcomed. I am always looking to learn, and am always looking to play. If you like listening, please like and subscribe, ill keep playing and uploading.

Thats great playing. I love it. Where are you located??
I was at this show. You do an amazing job on the drums! Thank you 🙏
Thank you!!! I was at this one too!
Sick dude. Nice job.
Thanks bro, appreciate you!
You seem like an amazing guy to chill and have a beer with.
I would definitely enjoy that. Been on a mead kick lately, but i love a good beer too...lol
Killer Dead set as usual Scott, thanks. Hornsby era Dead is my favorite.
Thank you so much! I was at this one. I remember the heat, and the boys were on FIRE
Hell yeah I was just listening to this show earlier this week
Glad you like it. String Cheese is one of my goto's for playing and listening. I have several that I like playing with, and the Cheese is in the top 3
Excellent. 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks bro, appreciate you!
This was the night Adam Katz got murdered by security and they got away with it. R.I.P. Adam Katz.
I didn't know about this one. I knew about Meredith Hunter in 1969, but not this one. RIP Adam Katz and Meredith Hunter
Adam was assaulted on 10/14/89, at a different show, and died the next day, but either way........ RIP
@@scottb382 thanks for the correction. I must have heard about it on 10/16.
I was at this show ( last time I saw Brent unfortunately), the heat was unbearable, till they came out and the storms started. The PA blowing out and them starting up right where they got cut off was classic. To this day I still remember the lightning and thunder going along with Other one. Nice work!
some of my favorite years.. thanks
These Grateful Dead jams are the best. Feels like you should be their 3rd drummer.
Thanks! Much appreciated
Do you play this rig live?
Not yet. I want to though and am working on it. I gig with my congas, bongos, and drjembes, but Im going to audition this kit for the band soon..... can't wait!!
This rules. I absolutely dig it
Thanks!! Much appreciated!
what the fuck am i watching
RUclips
@@scottb382 lmao
Like your setup man! Would to play that 🤘 Its something else so yeah, subs +1🔥
Thanks!!!! Built this kit a year ago and have been teaching myself how to navigate it...lol. Lots of fun, and has been keeping me sane!
@@scottb382 now let them make a seethrough set for ya ;)
good stuff man!!
Thanks!!! I appreciate you
Excellence 👍
Awsome work...
Love it but kinda lost, you doing Mickey parts? Love the dead and i love this
Thanks! I'm not trying to do Mickey's or Bill's parts, just adding my own. I am a percussionist and just love playing, and I really love the Dead. I record with several live bands, helps keep me grounded.
Very cool. You should have sat in with the boys.
Thanks, wish I could've!!!!
Damn that's one helluva "Feel Like a Stranger" to kick things off with! Grateful Dead forever man ❤⚡💙
Thanks!!! This was my birthday show and the last time i saw Jerry. Special show for me, glad you like first set....second set will up soon.
OH snap! that was excellent!!
This is not Tool. You are not in the band Tool. Shame on you for this misrepresentation.
Ok........ 😂
wtf have i watched? :-)
Cool 😀🎼✅ Ty for sharing!! ☮️
I've been practicing for about a year now, and playing with live shows is like a time warp for the dead and a new adventure for the other bands i record. "The bus came by and i got on, thats when it all began........"
hands down THE BEST COVER!!!!
Is this what the internet has become? I willingly clicked because I like to watch drummers interpretations…& now I feel personally insulted…cmon man, save some server space for those who have something worthwhile to contribute
Aye haha. Seriously wtf is this.. I don't think one note was correct.
Sorry you didn't like the video, i make these as practice so i can listen later and try to get better. Been teaching myself for about a year. And i am not a drummer, i tried but couldn't get it so i changed my kit. I don't have a snare, kick, or cymbals in the kit, so drumming is out, but added percussion is what i try to do, and if its not for you, i completely understand, its not for most, but i do want to thank you for actually occupying your time, enough so that you took the extra minutes to type a message and read all the other responses. Like they say, any press is good press. Ill keep striving to be better.....i guess you could keep striving to do whatever it is you do. Thanks again, much appreciated!!!
@@scottb382 Geez, I feel like a complete tool (pun intended). That was one great response to my jackass comment dude. Believe it or not I don’t go around bashing anyone be it a spineless keyboard warrior or in general life, especially when someone is simply tying to make themselves better at whatever craft they are wanting to improve on. It was intended to be snarky & I see that what I said was just mean. Well handled man, you got a great attitude & that attitude humbled me today. Keep on keep’n on - and keep your ear to the music as well as to the ground for good deals on snare, hat & kick pads to add to that impressive set up you got going…
Don’t play out live w a band?
Working on it. I use these videos as an audition of sorts. I have gigged live with my congas, but haven't had this kit out yet. I have only had it a year, and teaching myself to play, and I take it to practice for 1 of the projects, but they are a little ways away from booking anything at this point, but i am always looking to get them out in front of some people. Looking for that 1 break.....that one person to say, "Hey, lets try this out!!"
@@scottb382 that’s awesome! All the best!
Another incredible improvising session brother!! You’re the hidden genius
Thank you, I appreciate it. Still learning but it is super fun and helps keep my head space clear.
good stuff man sounds great with a second percussionist, cool rig ya got there
Thanks!! Much appreciated
Thank you!!
You know when the FBI drops the ball and says “ We didn’t see any cause for concern.”?
Interesting setup you have there. Looks like you're enjoying it. Making a grateful day. Have fun.
IWT🔥🫶🏼💕gr8 DRummin 🥁
Thank god these are electric drums because the way you angled these is so unrealistic.
Why unrealistic? I built and taught myself how to play. I promise, I am not a magician, and this isn't an optical illusion.
No seat, no pedals, not playing all the snare hits… just learn to play the drums buddy 👍 it’s not as hard as it looks 😅
Thanks! I tried to learn regular drums a year ago, couldn't get the feet thing down, so i made this. I am not a drummer, mad respect for all who can pull it off, but i would rather have fun playing with artists, instead of learning to replace them.
@@scottb382 I can agree with that but learn to play and play your own version brotha you could definitely do it!
well ive got to say ive never seen a drum setup like this
Or utilize none of it
dig iT
Phenomenal. You Sir, have excellent taste in music & you absolutely kill it on the drums. Bravo!🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, much appreciated
Is that diar straight
Its Widespread Panic
@@scottb382Thanks ,Never heard of them. Vocals sounded like Kanoffer. Is that you who made the video then?
I did make this video, thats me playing along with them. I have other videos from a bunch of jam bands. Check out one of the Goose shows i played, they are new to me too, and they rock as well.
Ride on!! You were killing it ! Electric drums!Always looking forward to listening to new music thanks! Sounds good
NICE KIT Finicling around
Thanks!!
First Show was the Night after 4-6!
That's the next dead show on my list!
Not lookin like 1989.
Niiice Beats Maan🔥🥁🔥was fun jammin with Ya I Was at this one🤘🏼💀🎶🔥🎧🎶❤️💃Good Times
Thanks!! Ill keep the music rolling
Bravo! 👍
I tried to set my first kit like a regular drum kit, but i couldn't get the feet thing, so i thought maybe if i turn the heads and have them up on a table, i could place them over top of my congas, and i could play while i stand. Since then i added another kit and this was how i learned to play a year ago, so it stuck. Im actually looking to bring them lower and sit on my stool while i play, just haven't gotten that far yet.....lol I appreciate you checking it out. Im just having fun and using them as therapy.....😂
I am very genuinely curious: Why are you standing? Is it medical, artistic preference? Are you using any pedals at your feet? Is the drumkit set up that way to save space? I have questions xD Looks like youre enjoying yourself!
I replied to the video, didn't reply to your question...lol.
you playing above the other sounds it looks cmon man what are you doing my man
what is this ? whats happening ?
Just me clearing my head space after a day on the daily grind treadmill.
Can see you really enjoyed jamming to Goose.. ain't they just the smokinest!! Looking forward to hearing Cotter Ellis beats coming up ✌🏼🥁💥
They are fun to play with! Ill have Dogs in a pile coming soon, and more goose. Thanks for the suggestions!!
@@scottb382 NP... Glad to
