I mean like how I do in Hawaii. I lived in & was stationed at Schofield Barracks on Oahu and there’s a lot of army resorts and Navy Lodges like the one on Pearl Harbor I’ve stayed at, but I just wondered like how that would work outside of the US.

Could you stay there and travel the Naples area like a tourist? I have base privileges obviously. Could I use it as my every night hotel if I plan to come there for a week. I was just wondering how that would work if you don’t mind answering?

I haven’t been since last summer but I’m hoping they can work on the greenery and park environment. This walkthrough looks so run down at the entrance. Hopefully they fix some of this when I go next week

Is it just you there? Like do you have a spouse? I’m asking bc I’d like to know how much normally is it to travel? How much to fly or ride trains? How often are you given the opportunity at the command to take trips to Milan or Rome? I’ll be heading over to Napoli in August.

I was stationed in Naples Italy at Capodichino Airport 76-80 as a USAF/MAC Technical Advisor. Back then everyone lived in Pinatamare which was about 24 miles north of the Capo. There were several high-rise apartment complexes. After the earthquake of Nov 1980 many of those builds were deemed dangerous and there was a made scramble to move folks out.

At least you didnt get hit in the helmet with the range control sign. Got hit every range.
