Just an update... I've been using the Chauvet Intimidator 255 IRC for a few years now and they've been great! They have a much slower rotation and are super bright. The Totem Mode programs SUCK so I've been using FreeStyler DMX software to control them. You can see them in action in my other videos. Peace.

I know u were concerned with the rotation on your inno spot LEDs, & I forgot to mention with the inno spot pro's u can get that rotation to as slow as u want. To a crawl. Hopefully ur new moving heads fit your needs.

Hey buddy! Good video thank you. I just purchased these as well, and I too am using an Elation DMX Operator (old school). I was able to figure out the pan and tilt and how to bring the lights on. However, I'm having trouble with the shake effect and changing gobos. I lovehow you have them going real slow on this video and I can't figure out how to do that. U shoulda went with the inno spot pro. They r a step up, But only about $200 bucks more a fixture & have an 80w led & will do exactly what u need them to do for your events & a hell of alot more. Great fixture with a whole lot that u usually see in some of your more expensive pro end models that R double & triple the price. Inno spot Pro. Great great light that does a whole lot more & especially for the money u can't beat it. I had the same problem. I bought the inno spot led 50w & then sold them a few months later & upgraded to the pros. They even have the Elites out now that R 180w but the price difference is really big & so is the fixture. Amazing light though. If u like your LED's u will fall in love with the pros for only $200 bucks more, & if u really wanna go all out u can go with the Elites for about an extra $1000 give or take. Again though, its a huge fixture & for the mobile DJ not very ideal. Even the Pro is slightly larger & heavier so take all that into consideration when getting these.. Hope this helps.

I haven't replaced them yet but am considering the Chauvet Intimidator LED 250 since they have a VERY slow rotation. They are about the same size and weight as the Inno's in the video.

I just picked up a quickshow xl & a mobilebeat mk5 laser and was trying to get the minimum flickering with the wedding monogram i want to create. Could you possibly tell me what font you used? the setting for the Laser pps 30k? Thank you in advance, Jon

Yes, I heard and am not impressed. I remember when the AWS frequencies were sold off in order to introduce competition into our non-competitive cell market. Doesn't this defeat the purpose? I will be surprised if they let it go through.

The room wasn't that dark when I shot the video but for some reason, the camera automatically turned down its sensitivity in reaction to the bright light of the PR1.

I don't get any signal on the canada line. Apart from that it's pretty good but not as good as rogers signal for example. BUT I am still satisfied with mobilicity and I think it's worth it. They also just put up a tower at SFU so my phone works fine up there :)

Any 1700/2100 AWS phone can be used. If it is not a Mobilicity phone, it will have to be unlocked. I hope that helps.

The Mobilicity network uses a frequency called AWS, with bands 1700/2100. If your phone has the ability to use those frequencies, then you just need to unlock it and get a Mobilicity SIM card to use it.

just got mobilicity i have way too many dropped calls. i was wondering can i buy a phone from craigslist and say if it was from rogers can i convert to mobilicity network such as the blackberry 9790 ? i'll check back for answers also im on 25 dollar plan a month do you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

For those of you wondering... I was out at the Brock House yesterday, 3875 Point Grey Road and had very strong 4-bar coverage. While there, I used my phone as a hotspot for my laptop with fantastic speed. Thanks Mobilicity!

This video sealed the deal. I switched from Rogers. I'm now using Mobilicity for about a month now and no problems so far. I live in Surrey and I have signal. My plan with Rogers was $67 + taxes, no caller id. Now my plan is $25 + taxes with caller id. Unlimited everything.

It is set to #23 which runs through all the internal programs. Be sure to power up the master last for maximum effect, something I did not know I was supposed to do when I shot the video..

I just found out that to make the programs continue through both strips you have to turn on the power to the master last, this allows it to take control of the slave unit. I did not do that in this video. When you do it correctly, the programs will treat the two strips as one, allowing all the cool patterns to go through both strips creating some very cool effects.

You have to have a custom steel gobo made by a company like Apollo or Rosco.

The design of the gobo is first created using a graphics program and then exported to a gobo company for manufacturing, such as Apollo or Rosco. They use a laser to cut the design into the steel so the light can shine through.
