IMPORTANT NOTE: Something I missed in this video is at @4:30 .. you will also need to link your RUclips Channel with the Google Ads account under Tools -> Data Manager (as well as Google Analytics as shown in video). This is necessary when making a Performance Max campaign and using the RUclips Channel viewers for retargeting

Matt - I tried redirecting purchases to thank you page but it says the additional scripts were deprecated and it says 'Order status page is now customized using customer events and apps configured in the editor'. When i click customer events, i can only create a custom pixel and I'm not sure if that's the right way of doing it. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Matt! When I get to the events manager, I don't see the Manage Integrations on the right side of the overview. All I see is "Your dataset hasn't received any activity." Below that it says that I haven't set up any integrations to start sending events from a server, website, or app and to finish setting up an integration to start seeing activity.

Hey Matt, so I'm one of the people that has the bug with the Pixel event section where the buttons are not automatically showing up. Can I take you up on your offer of a 5 minute call to fix it?

In my case, the button does not illuminate - what could be the cause?

I followed this as best I could but when I try try to setup the lead event through the event manager, it says there's no pixel detected. I did copy and paste the pixel ID into the promotion page and saved it, so I don't know what's going wrong and it's pretty frustrating. I've dropped you an email about it, hopefully you'll see it.

Thanks for the helpful walk-through! For some reason no buttons are highlighted in the Event Setup Tool for me on the prelaunch page. Any thoughts what could cause this/how to solve it? Pixel Helper gives the warning "Pixel Helper found your Meta Pixel, but the pixel has not been activated for this event and no information has been sent to Meta."

P.S.: When creating an ad account on Facebook, if you cannot see the "Create a new Ad Account" option in the dropdown menu because it is cut off the bottom of the screen... Hold the "CTRL" key on your keyboard and scroll the mousewheel to zoom out the web browser. This will allow you to see the option in the dropdown menu.
