My version of Legacy Needlenose is in storage (moving very soon), but there is definitely a knack to tabbing it together in jet mode. Someone at Hasbro really loved this toy, because this is a great homage. The head sculpt is amazing! Probably getting Quake now too! 😉

I've never owned either version, I like the altmode as it's a modified version of the F-16 Falcon, but I've always thought the name was a bit rubbish. I just looked on the TFWiki, you're right, they've recoloured and retooled it to be Windsweeper, which is a shame as that had a completely different aircraft altmode. This one isn't too bad, the headsculpt is really good. A shame about the targetmasters being almost exactly the same as the original, and not adding extra articulation, Hasbro/Takara being lazy/cutting costs yet again lol. I think I prefer where the nosecone/cockpit section went on the G1 version to this, but like you said, the attention to detail/sculpting on the Legacy version does look good. Great review!

Another demo that's an instant classic. Not sure how else to describe it, it kind of feels like it's a song that would be part of a soundtrack or playing inside a video game in the early 2000's.

I have a soft spot for this figure. It was my first pre-order and I was so excited to get it. I feel like it was the first Orion Pax to have his own mold too. I need to check the feet on mine though! 😬

The ankles on mine are the same, plus a QC issue that his left side abdomen has missed being painted.still a great review as always.

Though I think I sold or traded mine, I do remember thinking it was a great figure for it's time, great detail and sculpting, but I did find the transformation from one mode to the other a bit fiddly at time.I remembe those ball joints for the feet being a right pain in the backside too. And it's scary to think how it's been so long since the 30th anniversary! Great review!

An interesting take/previous version of the song (which is awesome to hear). Both are fantastic, and are still among my favourite songs by you/performed by the band.

I’d say the Firecons are marginally better than the Throttlebots. I have fond memories of them all… safely viewing from my Rose-tinted glasses! 😉

A final funny intro for Dave, and yowzas, look at all those spike traps! :O I thought it would have been a good idea from you both about using the M60, maybe they're better closer up/at ground level? As I wasn't feeling very well when this went live, I've ended up watching it today/on Guy Fawkes night, so I'm getting my own personal fireworks display (of sorts) lol with all the mines and exploding crossbow bolts going off and zombies flying through the air! I had a feeling one of you would fall off at some point lol, not both of you lol, thanks for being consistent! I hope in the new version of the game, the drones could be able to repair the doors/other damage. Congrats on neither of you being killed by zombies, especially for the final episode, kudos lads! Ha, one in my hand, one in yours, ooh err!

The only other figure (alongside Wideload) that I owned back in the day, not overly keen nowadays on the shade of blue they used, but the altmode looks half decent (and modern updates of him and the rest of the team would be cool, we've seen some surprising updates fairly recently like Quake and Flywheels get new toys, so this team is one that might get revealled at some point) and it's a great name. I agree with you, it's a shame they never gave them similar guns to the Battlechargers, that would have improved these toys ever so slightly. Almost there lol, great review :)

Despite the toys not being great, at least they have good names. I meant to mention on a previous video, something I used to do as a kid when playing the few Throttlebots I had was raise the arms in altmode for a kind of flight mode for them, just to make them a bit more enjoyable to play with lol, great review :)
