That was actually decent defense. The WR found the gap in the zone and the QB hit him at the perfect time. Not much anyone can do about that in that situation

Single high safety, so it must’ve been cover 3 (more than likely). Zone coverage, okay. The free safety is usually up top, meaning that the Strong safety comes down to replace the outside linebacker when the ball is snapped. The outside linebackers will replace the Corners on the outside. So, who was responsible? The answer: Strong safety for not putting his hands on the receiver to interfere with his route. The slot ran right past him untouched.
