How much is the print head?

there is a fine metal mesh filter inside of all print heads. if this filter becomes gunked up with congealed pigments (like chewing gum), you will not be able to clean it. buy a new head. if you own an older printer, like a wf-7610, you are taking a gamble with print head replacements as they mostly come from China and are refurbished (you will always have missing lines in nozzle checks), and you will most likely not be able to align the print heads anymore because the patterns will be distorted. horizontal alignments are not possible with refurbished heads UNLESS you are lucky enough to get a head that doesn't have missing lines in nozzle checks.

Does it matter which tube connects to which connector on the cap? I thought I read in the service manual that it does matter... Just don't remember which is supply and which is waste..

Hello, I am using Mimaki JV33, Rasterlink 5, every time the head comes on the cap and spit out paint while printing, so a lot of paint is wasted. Is there a solution for this, can I prevent the head from coming over the cap every time during printing? I would be glad if you help.

does anybody knows from where I can get similar printhead ? they gave me a 3,400$ it is to much for me

One thing you didn't tell us is that when you take the ink lines off the dampers the ink drains out of the lines all over everywhere, and the screws on mine had locktite on the screws holding the head so we loosened the silver bracket it was attached to and once the head was loose we then removed the bracket attached to the head...other than that a pretty good video....

Hi i got a quick question with the print head.. I have a CJV30 which should be essential the same as JV33 + plotter function In you video your using a Mutoh Head .. Is it DF-49684 ? if it is .., would the same Green connector head work on the CJV30 ?

Is there any settings on the machine that need to be set before installing new dampers? I've heard talk of needing to open some Valves to get ink to flow... I'm not sure where I would find info on that. I need to replace my 5 yr old Dampers on my CJV30-130 but I'm a bit scared to do it. Any advice?

I dont mind taking out the whole capping station during this process, allows me to clean up tons of dried ink that may have accumulated
