hi. thank you for commenting. olden days there were no framed structure. so no beams and columns. but some of them build beams without columns.
1:49 how do we calculate Ast for extra bars provided in 1 way slab. please mention the codebook and clause too
no design calculation for that. you will only provide distribution bars 6 nos at top 3 on either side
@@thehonblecivilengineers ok thanks. i made a design calculation on a one-way slab design but got 8 distribution bars in calculation I was just wondering whether they have separate calculation or did i make a mistake thank you for clarification

Nice bro. When we put on the roof concrete got rain and stopped in the middle (house part completed)and the next day continued the next half(portico and steps). Can you give your suggestion.
yaah. on the first day work you dont need to make it smooth finish. let it be rough with ups and downs with slant finish. then on that next day, if you pour concrete it will have good bond

Well it is a two way slab. So, design a two slab according to the load coming on to that slab. Or consult any engineer for design

Its a singly reinforced beam. But the top bars are hanger bars just for supporting stirrups. And the bent-up portion of middle bars are to take care negative BM at supports and also for shear resistance. Thankyou
