Thanks Jack. Yeah, that hammer does a number on those skellies! It is very satisfying! Hehe, yeah flying through those tunnels is a little scary. It's not that bad now with the update. It used to be REALLY bad before the update, where you had to make tight turns and decisions on pathing that was basically just trial and error like some bad arcade game. I'm just disappointed I wasn't able to get all of the armor, but that can come later. Cheers, man!

@caladran Thanks. This is definitely the toughest Elixir Well I've run into. The feeling of being in the shroud with time running out, you can't really see where you need to go, and all of the enemies... Yeah, scary! Good luck to you!

@Jacksroost Thanks Jack. Yeah, I got lucky the character I meant to delete was level 25. Still took a few hours to get him back to where I was, but it wound up not being too horrible. Hehe, yeah there were a lot of mobs in spots, but I was really expecting more. The new build just chews through them, but you do have to be a bit quicker about it. Hehe. Those skeleton Cyclops are pretty easy melee as long as you can stay under them. Part 2 is much more Hollow Halls and much less talk. Hehe. Cheers!

@gigi3242 Thanks. Yeah, fortunately I had an old character and it only took me a few hours to get back on track. It was definitely one of those "Is this when I quit?" moments, though. Losing the footage of the other elixir wells and haunted temples was discouraging, too, but ... well ... you roll with it. I'm really eager to see the new updates! I was considering a new series on Survival difficulty when those come out, but what I might do is just change my current world to Survival difficulty and carry on. We'll see. 😃 Have a great weekend yourself!

Hehe. I agree with the Islands being a bit of an aggravation. That's what set me off in Below Zero. Too much stuff on land! And yeah, those fish are doing so much damage to my Seamoth! Poor Sunbeam. I wonder if the name of that ship is intentional, as the Sunbeam met a laser beam right as morning touched planet 4546B. So sad.

Yeah, so much about that Elixir well sucked, but it definitely made for a Hollows-like challenge and wound up being fun enough to where I didn't even mind the deaths - though that second death was just dumb and all my lack of attention. Hehe. Finding that blind spot with the Fell Sicklescythe was sweet! It actually looked (when I was editing) like I was actually hitting him with my sword, too - even though while playing I wasn't seeing his hit points go away, it looked like I was leeching health from hitting him.

@jaw_1594 Hehe. It was definitely crazy and confusing, but I thought it was fun. Yeah, the bugs and flying creatures were a pain, and I died a couple of times, but I thought it was a great adventure! I'd like to see more of those kinds of places in the game.

@Jacksroost Hehe yeah the first time I played Subnautica the Aurora was an adventure! I don't know how many hours I spent in there, but it was a LOT! The pipes, trying to find all of the code PDAs, wondering if I was missing something. Oh, the nostalgia! Then, having to go back later for the Captain's quarters. *shudder* Never played Breathedge, but I've heard good things. I'm just hoping that Subnautica 2 keeps making traction and gets released in a reasonable time frame. Another Subnautica with co-op mode?! Sign me up! That's actually what made me want to record a Hardcore playthrough.

@@Zeffana Breathedge is a ton of fun. Sub 2 co-op would be awesome. I saw there was a mod for that but as far as I know its buggy as hell haha. Also hope the 2 nd one is done way better than Below Zero. Thought it wasn't a bad game but it wasn't a Subnautica game if that makes sense.

@Jacksroost Yeah, the co-op mod for Subnautica was riddled with bugs. Below Zero had some fun moments (some really good predators in the water), but it was too much on land, and I didn'tget that same "wow" from the underwater biomes, either.. From what I hear, Subnautica 2 is going to be more Sub ... er ... nautical? Hehe. I'll have to check out Breathedge.

Thanks, Jack. Yeah the soldier armor looks great! Hard mode really is no joke. More spawns, they attack faster,band I think they hit a little harder, too. It's been a really good challenge thusfar! I'm pretty sure when I do the Kindlewaste Hollow Halls, it's going to be a death fest, but I'm hoping I can get enough points and better weapons to make it doable. Cheers!

Hehe, yeah there's nothing like that schematic rush to get you going! There ain't no way I'm messing with Reaper Leviathans on Hardcore mode, man! I sooooo wanted to just go in and get a close-up, but kept thinking "Yeah, this would be the one time I got killed doing that, and there goes the series!" LOL! Propulsion cannon is soooo good, makes exploring the Aurora so much easier! Man, I love Subnautica! 😃

Hey, thanks! I love Enshrouded! Hard difficulty kicks it up a notch, and can be frustrating - but is soooooo much fun! Dude, the Hollow Halls are sick. If you're already into the Nomad Highlands, you should be about ready for the first one. Sooooo many skellies and so much death! Hehe. Good luck to you as well!

@@justsoupc Hollow Halls are really more fun and xp. For armor, until you get to the Kindle wastes, crafted armors are great. Other than that, look for gold chests for better armor and weapons. Around Pikemead is the Guard of the North armor set, which has some really good stats for the Nomad Highlands area.

O.o Nice! Actually, spoiler alert, either my next video or the one after that (depending on the editing) I believe I go into that one. It's a tough one!

@Jacksroost Thanks, Jack. It's hard to find something about Subnautica that isn't nice. Love the crafting, the pacing, the environment and atmosphere. Just a beautiful game in general!

@Jacksroost Yeah, Subnautica is just sooooo good I couldn't resist going back in, and figured I'd go ahead and record while I'm at it.

I don't know about the numbers. I crafted my eternal fireball, and I think the damage is just what it is, plus modifiers. I heard something in some other video about an eternal fireball that you could find, but I've never found it. Maybe that one is more powerful, but I doubt it. They did some re-balancing with the latest updates, so maybe it changed there, but I don't know. I just adjust to whatever it does currently, and I love the big BOOM! 😄

Yeah, I liked the cosmetics next to one another. I'd like better lighting there, but they feel "right" next to the door there. I do love the displays - especially since you can walk up to one and say "Yeah, swap all of this out to my cosmetics", or "Yeah, swap all of this out to my armor!" Yeah, that Elixir well at 10:03 was the same one you were just in. I had died in that one playing with my wife, when I got knocked off into the lava by one of the flowers hitting me then the Fel Commander guy just popped me, and "boop!" there I went! Hehe. Hehe, gotta do what you can with those sword guys. Leap frog seems to work whenever I get my head out of my nethers. That spear guy was so funny! I think you're right. He was probably so proud of himself, then "WHIFF!"

@user-if4ti4et9e My Eternal Fireball is 76 damage as well. My build has extra magic damage and extra fire damage, and I'm using foods to increase Intelligence, then using the elixir for extra damage. My armor also gives me extra magic damage and crit chance and damage. My staff also increases the damage of my spells.

@Jacksroost Thanks man. Yeah, Keen did a great job in general with the game. The progression is a bit wonky and too quick between the Nomad Highlands and the Kindle wastes, but I just love the look and feel of the world in general, and each of the playstyles are very different! If only they'd give better rewards for those green guys! Hehe! LOL! Yeah, Marble in Mouth sounds like a legit language!

Hehe. Yeah, we shall build a shrine to the memory of Kevin, if we can remember to do so. The ranger / beastmaster build has been fun thusfar, and it's very strong. The Matrons don't stand much of a chance, even though I've had the same bow since before the first Hollow Halls episode. Spoiler alert, but I've got two other episodes recorded, and I switch specs on episode 18. Really going to miss Kevin... 😜

LOL! Yeah, maybe I've been wed! Time for a spec change, methinks!!! Hehe! Yeah, saw the chest on edit, but what're ya gonna do? Might have had some shroud potions or something useful, who knows? Maybe a spell or two for when I switch to mage? Yeah, flying bugs. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the shroud... =D

Hehe, thanks Jack. I think I need a placard on my wall that reads "Keep calm and LOOK UP!" LOL! You CAN harvest the green stuff! Gives you toxic slime, which I didn't know about! I had to go back in a playthrough with my wife and take a pickaxe to the slime, but it's totally harvestable! Not sure what you do with it, but it's definitely harvestable! I love the skulls for boss fights! So frickin' good! I think I went overboard, but that's what I do. Hehe. I'm just glad someone's on my side in my legal battles with the Hollows regarding Archer's union law. It's pretty flagrant, but I'll bet they'll get off on some technicality. 😄

@Jacksroost Thanks Jack. Hehe, yeah I'm having fun with the Vukah. Really liking the Beastmaster stuff! The Bard was added in the new update. Around level 13, you should get the quest for going to the Blackmire, which leads to her. I am enjoying the Ranger spec, too. It's definitely more challenging than the warrior bang bang spec, but figuring out how to make it work is proving a nice challenge.

@johnbiddle5586 Thanks. I'm working on the sound. It gets a little better in later videos, but I'm still tweaking. Part of the problem is my headset mic being old, but I'm trying to resolve that through editing.

Hehe, thanks for the confirmation. I had a feeling they weren't there just to help guide me. Pretty sure the hornets or wasps or whatever would not be my friends, either. Absolutely loving the beast master perks! I was looking for a way to slow my leveling, and that seems to have managed it beautifully!

Didn't have the explosive arrows yet. They were expensive before the update, and I didn't have any tar before this episode, but I made a bunch of tar in preparation for the next episode, so we'll see. 😃

Yeah, that was kind of a variation of the flashbacks I did with Night of the Dead. What I had recorded was so boring in editing I figured it was 1000 times better if I just used like 10 seconds of each step there. Hehe. Yeah, I'm loving the bow thusfar. It's a departure from my typical melee style, but it has a lot of versatility! I mostly just wanted to try out the beast master stuff, and it's working to keep me from getting too much xp in the new area. Hehe. Great idea for a sitcom! I still haven't found the guy who took the stuff out of that chest... 😜

Thanks. Pikemead was a lot of fun, and it's such a great place to explore! LOL that grenade to the face was the best! Seemed like every time I needed to find something underground, I fell right in to where I needed to be. Priceless! My luck with gear was so bad with chests I figure it balances out with the drop-ins.

Thanks! I love Pikemead and all of the adventure and mystery to be found there! It also seems to the end of a chapter in Enshrouded, so there's an epic feel to it. The Northern Guard armor set is kind of the icing on the cake there, and it looks really good! Thanks for joining me on my journey. 😀

Thanks. It has been a joy to create! Glennwood's End is in the north of the map, on the west side. If you glide from the Revelwood Ancient Spire north, and a little west, you'll probably get the map marker, but you'll get quests to go to Glennwood's End that will at least point you to the town. I personally think it would make a nice base - though I like where I'm at in the Blue Frog Tavern currently. It really all depends on what you're looking for in a base. With fast travel, anything can be "centrally located", so it's all about your style and aesthetic. Willow Crush is another town that can be nice to put a base in, or you can just find a location you really like and build your own place there. One of the great things about Enshrouded is that you aren't limited and there's no "best place" to live. It's all about what you want. 😎 The backpack is easily expanded through the Hunter - though I'm not sure if that changed with the new update. The first (small) backpack is crafted in your inventory after you summon the Hunter. Just keep looking with the Hunter after that, and you'll find the medium backpack. That's what I'm using now.
