Maintaining one's composure even while in great pain and suffering.
The means must be just as pure and righteous as the ends.
Excepting that disappointment, Great disappointments and uncertainty, pain and suffering are an intrinsic and extrinsic part of life that we can not escape from.
We can use our pain and suffering empathize with the suffering of others which prompt us, motivate us to make the world a little better, but it takes discipline, relentless discipline and effort, and dedication to this end, to make ourselves more humans in society more humane. Once again that means must be just as pure as the ends.
