What if female bee produces female by sexual and also male by parthenogenic then the male has its father.......!
Interesting question! In honey bees, the sex of the offspring is determined by the fertilization of the egg. If a female bee produces a female through sexual reproduction, it's fertilized by a male's sperm. However, when a female bee produces a male through parthenogenesis, the male bee does not have a father in the traditional sense, as there was no contribution of sperm from a male bee. Instead, male bees produced parthenogenically are haploid, meaning they have half the number of chromosomes of a typical female or male bee. This is a fascinating aspect of honey bee biology!
