Nothing fancy, just a short vid of my office aquarium. Filter is a Penguin Mini from Marineland that is close to 20 years old, but still going strong! I pimped it based on suggestions from Cory from Aquarium Co-op with a coarse sponge pre-filter and added ceramic bio-rings inside. I also removed the activated carbon from the filter cartridges so it doesn't absorb the fertilizer for the plants.
Substrate is a layer of organic potting soil, topped with sand and gravel.
Plants are ludwigia, dwarf hairgrass, a variety of Java fern whose name escapes me, and dying valisneria. As of March 12, 2020, the valisneria is all but gone, but the ludwigia is thriving, and I have added anubias nana to the ...
