Im from Indiana too bro and just letting yk this gave me a great idea what ima set my shit up
Would it be possible to trim the metal bumper and still run it behind the bumper cover ?
Good job bro!
Damn homie, that’s a gorgeous setup. Makes me want to buy a second workbench toolbox. Your shop…. Goals
Nice job bud. Looks good.
Idea - why not get a caddy or mobile workshop roller box to take home tools inside, i dont have my garage setup yet but i have all my tools in a shed in a dewalt tough system but my impact driver, hammer, wera maintenance kit, multimeter and a few other bits are in a dewalt tool caddy so when i need to fix things in the house i just grab that
Nice
Swisstrax. No question. It will never lift and zero prep work
How about labeling the drawers. so the boss can go grab it her self
Like👍👍👍
you have a dream garage- wish one day i can have my own. so clean and so nice.
Impressive space, really like your attention to flow and organisation. I find for myself I am constantly modifying and changing my workshop as I go, to best use the space. Really like a neat and clean workspace. After each project I reset the entire space .
Looks awesome man!! Lots of good ideas sparked for me.
You might be able to switch to a side mount garage door opener and get some extra space
Now this is a shop...
Really awesome to build on.
Think about adding led tape lights to the wall above the molding by the car it will increase the light for working under the car
That’s a great idea
I have also seen some guys put them on the garage door so when it is up you still have lights instead of blocking the only light down on that end of the garage
Nice tour... thanks for sharing.
Love the “island” tool box
Looks like your snap on guy. Nice shop
Nice new age cabinets
Looks good man! All it’s missing is a bench vise
I had a small Irwin that I ended up splitting the base casting in half. Need to invest in a good one or maybe restore an older one
Great garage I like it. Lot of drawers empty or half empty. If I were you I would better organise it so I would get rid of an isle tool box. In addition I would instal cabinets under the roof. Toolboxes you have on the sides could be placed more towards the garage door where your car sits now, and that will open the space under the air and power reels where you would have a ton of room to work around the car.
I like it. I’m in the process of converting my wood shop to more of a motorcycle maintenance & repair. Using the husky HD boxes. Starting with an 84” The new 96” boxes are not scheduled until Jan/Feb 2023. Would be perfect but I’m not taking the chance that they get delayed. My setup has to be dual purpose. Wood/shop. Like you I’m thinking on ditching (storing them away) the air tools. Take up a lot of room and the compressor is noisy (and takes up room). Battery tools are the way to go. Hope my remodel turns out as clean and functional as yours
very clean garage!
buy a lift.
Thank you for the vid
So now to remove the IC you'll need to remove the bumper and bumper support to gain access to the head of the mounting screws?
Just picked up a beat 87. love how this thing is being done. I will be using your videos as I begin the project for inspiration and advice. I feel like it will take me a long time haha.
Those tools have never been used
I’m in the same situation with my 89 turbo, rear hatch floor cut out, car is currently undergoing body work, all the glass I pulled except the doors, was looking at custom gauge cluster ideas and found your setup which is much better of an idea then I had about using abs plastic and was struggling to bend it inside the area where the original pod was. I’m getting tired of the 7M platform and r154 and swapping in a 5.3 LS with a turbo glide. I want to fit a ford 8.8 diff but not wanting to pay $3k for custom axles, the car is starting to be a headache and find myself avoiding working on it
Sick bro 🤘🏿
great to see a 15x25 setup pretty clean picasso
It's looking good. The paint looks really deep and clear. Did you roll the bed liner or spray it
Didn’t want to make a mess so in this case I rolled the bed liner.
Nice explanation! subbed.
Saw this and bought it as soon as i finishing watching. Great video
Super nice Just rewatched and I have to say, no matter what anyone says, when you got nice snapon tool boxes it looks awesome
You also. I don't care what people say about Snap On . I believe they are pretty decent tools....a little better than Harbor Freight.
when your cart is bigger than your toolbox - lol
What series is that
What size of a compressor do you use? Trying to get one that will hold up to a da running
A master class on maximizing space... in my experience a tool (like a saw/drill press) in a cabinet is a tool never used.
Life saver bro!!! I was looking at this same intercooler and was like damn. How am i going to mount it or how will it look and here you are. Thanks a bunch!!!!
glad this could help someone!
beautiful, im looking to do this in my nissan hardbody
What I'd give to have a shop about the size of this connected to my house. I have a 10X15 building now but with my, metal lathe, mill, belt sander welding machines, bandsaw, 20 ton press, tools toolboxes, Forge and 321lb anvil, and lastily my work bench, I have very little free space lol I've learned ALOT about space saving/making shit fit and tetris though lmao beggars cant be choosers I guess. I'm just glad I have a shop to put all my shit in at all so yeah
sweet, thanks for the tour
The smaller the shop the more organized I notice people are. People with big shops tend to store more junk they are never going to use. My uncle had a small radiator shop he was well organized for a small shop. My brother has a large shop with hecka junk all over you can't even walking around in it without bumping into junk stuff falling off the shelves. He spends most of the time looking for a tool he needs.
you don't need all this tools
Great home shop!
Nice video. I like that mini green vise, do you have a part number or any info on it. Also how do you like that lathe. I’ve been wanting a lathe and mill but not sure what brand to get. If you had any input on that would be great. Thanks
