Fabulous film, I really enjoyed it.. The Fort has been on my to do list since being a schoolboy and watching "The Vikings". I will try to make the trip this year but the top of the tower looks absolutely petrifying. I get wobbles in my stomach going up a step ladder, goodness knows what I will be like gripping the rope and walking down those steps from the top to walk around where Kirk died like a viking all those years ago.

I loved this video! At 2:29 you drove by “Verclut”, my Granny and Grandpa’s home and at 2:34 I can see the steep driveway that leads to Dr. Dyson’s home. He lived there with his sisters, Kitty and Millie. Dr. Dyson swam at Seymour every day, no matter the weather. My Grandpa used to let us kids walk from Verclut to the Woodlands Hotel so that we could swim and play on the slide. It looks like the Woodlands Hotel is now flats 😢 Lovely video ❤ Thank you.

Remember when I told you of the "What did you use for bait?" remark, well, Colin lived in an apartment that was four stories high and very narrow. On my first visit Col asked, on the 3rd floor landing, "Shall we make camp here or shall we make the final assault now? Dear Col, he is missed.

The amount of times I see you going up Tower Rd brings back memories I used that road frequently staying at the top end Clubley Est but remember the road that sharp bend near the bottom not good in a Heavy down pore meet a skip lorrie when I was on the way down car didn’t like it he had paint flakes on his wheel hub say no more never thought I would see that road again But enjoy you speed journey just trying to work out we’re you are thanks Tom

Hi tom you must have had a game of golf 😊 ,opposite the golf course is the beautsie hotel we have stayed there a couple of times also stayed in gorey village the old bank hotel opposite that is the good chippy john m had said he enjoyed . Up the hill a bit on the left about 25 mtrs from the chippy a plot of land had just sold for 3million .it was the talk in the chippy 😊😊. That year was 2015!! im writing this in 2024 ! I bet it would cost treble now tom. Thanks for showing your subscribers the jersy roads a great drive tom

Famaliar drive on east of island, forgot just how populated it was compared to west coast. But still lovely trip. Few changes since i was there last, but enjoyed the drive.

Tom, thank you for all your videos of the island close to my heart and fond memories of 1961-2-3 working. My wife n' I are puzzled. We have seen of late innumerable real estate videos of many expensive estates for sale. Can you explain Tom, why so many are empty? Are so many leaving Jersey? Thank you for your time from young Ron n' B. PS. When I was drumming for the Ronnie Hilton Show, Watersplash 1962 the cast called him Ronnie and I was, young Ron.
