Camino Portuguese Sendo Litoral Day 4 | Esposende to Viana do Castelo
Day 4 of my Camino Portuguese was the longest. I walked 27.5 kilometers from Esposende to Viana do Castelo, and the day ended with a final test of endurance-climbing 633 steps to reach my albergue at the top of a hill - Albergue de Santa Luzia. Along the way, I took a relaxing break on the beach, met some wonderful fellow pilgrims, and enjoyed the stunning views that made the effort worth it.
In this video, I share:
🌟 Why carrying cash is essential on the Camino.
🍋 A heartwarming encounter at Casa Cruz where the owner gave me a lemon to add to my water.
🏖️ How I chose a scenic detour along the beach to avoid getting lost.
🙏 The emotional news I received about my cousin during this journey.

Hi, do you remember which section of the detour that you took to went along the beach? Thanks
It was in Praia do Rodanho. There was a part where the boarwalk was covered with sand so I just walked down to the beach
I walked from Baiona to Santiago in June 24. Your two fav parts were mine too.
That's amazing! I actually missed Baiona because I took a break in A Guarda and continued from Sabaris, but it sounds like an incredible stretch. It’s so cool we share the same favorite parts.
Hi. Are there any other ways to go to kota kinabalu from labuan aside from ferry? Also, may idea po ba kau what time last trip ng ferry? bka kasi 6pm arrival namin sa labuan, di na aabot sa speedboat.
@@jocelyncabaot7413 labuan kasi is an island so your other option is to take a flight. Kung brunei kayo manggagaling, merong bus diretso ng kota kinabalu kaso it takes 8 to 9 hrs and hindi everyday ung bus
@iwentanyways Thank you. We decided to take the bus from brunei to kota. Then pabalik ng brunei is by ferry na. Ung sinakyan nu pong mini bus from menumbok to kota, meron po ba sila terminal sa kota kinabalu? kasi aun nalang sana sasakyan din namin pabalik ng menumbok at kung what time ung 1st trip nila to menumbok

I am also planning a solo trip on the same route next May. I might add 3 days to go to Tui. I am also very prone of getting plantar fasciitis. How do you treat your problems along the journey. At home I will do massage gun, rolling pin, and many stretches to recover from that. Can you do a video of your specific stops and accommodations. Thanks.
About two hours into my walk, I began feeling the pain in my feet. When it became too much to bear, I would take a break to massage them. Later, I realized the pain was more manageable after my bag got lighter-I had left unnecessary items with a friend during my two-day break. I’m currently working on a blog post detailing all the accommodations I stayed at during my Camino journey, and I’ll also feature them in my upcoming videos. 🙂
looking forward to your new blog. Thanks
Will publish this week. Will share the link on my community tab when it's done :)
I have already published the blog post. You can check out the link in the description of this video 🙂
Me too! In April 2025.....but am afraid if I will manage it, because of heel pain also 😢. I am doing exercises, massaging feet with ball....I am having bone spur and plantar fasciitis.
Anong month ka naglakad and from the Philippines saan ka nag land? Thank you
I started walking Aug. 4. I landed in Barcelona and explored Lisbon, Sintra and Fatima before going to Porto to start the camino 🙂
i really miss to eat nasi padang! 😁

Thank you! 😊
You are so adventurous. But being a geologist, I don’t wonder. Even if I’m younger, I wouldn’t dare to do this thing. So , thank you for sharing in details. As if, I’ve been there myself.
Next year I will do a longer route 🤞🏻
