With all due respect, I just wanted to know few things about .bin files (not about only bios thing) I'm currently working on DVR and NVR for which, when it comes to program issue we totally stuck on work. Because today's latest model dvr or nvr doesn't support copy/dump program which copied (extracted) from other good working dvr or nvr, because of the serial number. Two or more than two dvr/nvr can work on same program but customers faces some problem in video. Example:- one customer can randomly see some other customer's live videos (sometime). And this is happen just because of same serial number. So, Please tell me sir can we edit the serial number as we desire from the .BIN file ???

I have a dell 5420 with a winbond 25R256JV and even in the memory readers there is no support for this I used the ezp2023 to read it with the W25Q256 option and I was able to read the BIOS information but when writing the data an error appears, what? is there a solution? I have thought about buying a W25Q256 to program it but I don't know if it works... could you help me with this?
