Hilo Razorwark
Добавлен 24 апр 2023
Yes. That’s my name and handle. (And profile) Shiquanlo sounds like a cool handle if im being honest. The first word of my name is from a title of a book, and I might make movies about him in the future. First movie: Hilo. (PG) second movie: Hilo and the portal entrance. (TV-PG) Third movie: Hilo and the new earth. (PG-13) Fourth movie: Hilo and The mix up of all the universes. (PG-13) mystery horror show (in the style of "Agatha all along" & "stranger things"): shiquanlo (3-5 seasons) (TV-14) Fifth movie: Hilo and the destroyer of the earth’s. (PG-13) Q&A show: Hilo Q&A comedy (1 or 2 seasons) (MA-15) anyways I’m getting off topic here. I record traffic lights and other stuff. (But mostly traffic lights)

Nice!

0:52 That's a conflicting indication right there. A red and a green arrow shouldn't be on at the same time. The only way this would make sense if the red arrows were ball indications instead of arrows.
The pedestrian signals all going on walk during a red signal is an exclusive pedestrian phase called a pedestrian scramble. Not only can you cross the traditional way, but you can walk diagonally across the intersection as well. That's why there are twelve pedestrian signals as opposed to just eight. Just watch out for any idiots who decide to run the red signal.
odd
No, they put the wrong sign on the four section signal
Yeah I pointed that out
Yep they must forgetting some sign what they put
This is not the first time I've seen something like that, I've seen a image of a Michigan Intersection where the traffic lights are on poles and the flashing yellow arrow had that sign when it was indicating a FYA.
They probably have blank out 'turning vehicles yield to peds' signs next to them if that's the case then.
Looks actually funny tho. Happy new year for every one that sees this
From what i heard, There used to be a lot of these FYB signals in Seattle. But they were replaced with Flashing Yellow Arrow signals. and oddly, enough, 2 of the Flashing Yellow Arrow signal have a bimodal arrow. But I'm glad this Flashing Yellow Ball Signal is still in service.
I hope they replace it with a FYA
There's currently no plans to replace it as it's still here. Plus, this is the last one.
Where (on Google Maps) did you film this traffic light?
Marysville
It is either set to "protected-only" or "rest in red" due to the conflict with the dual right turn lanes. It may be the case it is temporary because the crosswalk signals are not active yet.
Might be protected.
Flashing Yellow Arrow shouldn’t be turn on, when Pedestrians are approaching, it should be after the timer runs out.
There isn't really any traffic there, so it's safe.
Where is this
Edmonds (farther north)
Bishop to e3
It was in a discovered pin.
No there was a discovered pin on the bishop from the rook.❤

Yeah I got to.
Good eye!
Yeah I don't know what they were thinking.
What intersection is this?
Oh I’m sorry! When I walk you what intersection it is, you don’t respond, but when you ask what intersection it is, you want me to tell you? I’ll let it slide this time but from now on, try to respond to me. It’s 15th Ave S & S Columbia way.
@Shiquanlo233 I always put the location in the description in my videos. You should read the descriptions.
Oh. Sorry I forgot about that.
@Shiquanlo233 That's OK. If the signal is in a public place, I usually put the location in the description.
There needs to be more, not just Steady Red or Green Arrow, it will help Reduce Conflicts on Pedestrians
The right turn signal was protected already?
Pretty sure yes.
Then how was the right turn signal turned yellow
In case the crosswalk signal went green again.
Oh, so I thought left arrow was flashing
No.
Interesting. With the opposing left turn signal being protected only, installing an FYA here doesn't really make sense. I agree with Petru that protected only pedestrian phasing is superior, but having the FYA here is kind of pointless. A standard protected only right turn signal would be appropriate here.
I would understand if the FYA flashes yellow on the crosswalk cycle, and on the hand cycle.
@@Shiquanlo233 If they are going to keep the FYA here, having the flashing yellow arrow during ped clearance would make sense. Otherwise a green arrow should be displayed with the through signals and into the side street phase.
Yeah but this is Portland. Right turn FYA's don't flash yellow on crosswalk cycle.
@@Shiquanlo233 Interesting! If the crosswalk isn't active at all, the arrow should be green since there isn't a conflict with the left turning vehicles!
Intersection: "What you gon do about it"
0:48 Looks like they went to doghouse mode.
This doesn’t do a Flashing Yellow Arrow, it makes sense to be cautious when Pedestrians are crossing the street
@@matthewadventureexploratio6596 then why did they make it a 3 section right turn arrow?
@@Shiquanlo233 They decided to do a 4 Section Right Turns by miss programming a Flashing Yellow. It should be replaced to 3 Lenses with a FYA sharing on Steady Yellow.
@@Shiquanlo233 There is a Flashing Right Turn Arrow in Tigard & Hillsboro. One on Durham @ Hall another on Walnut @ Grande One on Cornell @ Evergreen & Cornelius Pass @ Evergreen
It’s a safety measure for the crosswalk! Makes it safer to cross the street
Yes, but in Seattle, the right turn FYA goes flashing yellow when the crosswalk signal is green, and the FYA is green when the crosswalk signal is red. And. I would get it if it flashed yellow on the crosswalk cycle COUNTDOWN, but not at all if it does not flash yellow on the crosswalk cycle at all.
I don't understand what the point of this video is.
@@jimmydesouza4375 it’s showing you traffic lights. If you go to my channel, you’ll see why I made it.
@@Shiquanlo233 Nothing in your profile gives any indication as to why you are posting traffic light videos. Do you just like traffic lights (which seems to be the case from your profile but not conclusively) or is the one in this video malfunctioning?
I like traffic lights. And yes it does.

Traffic lights. You are watching MY channel that has traffic lights.
Original name: idk what to name this traffic light video. XD
Name: Flower power traffic light :) (because of the florist at the intersection)
Original name: idk what to name this traffic light video. XD
It misses the red-yellow step which most of European countries still use. After red there is a brief moment when red and yellow come on simultaneously. It's to give stick shift drivers that second to press the clutch and select first gear.
That car at 2:27 just ran the red light like it was nobody's business! As for the crossing lights, the blinking green is used all over Europe I suppose. It means the light is about to change, but you still can finish your crossing safely. Light go red sometimes on their own. It's because it has detected a car going to fast, or the light turned red at near bigger intersection, or ever some intersections or crossing have a "normal red" mode to slow the traffic, is turns green when you drive close to the light and your vehicle gets detected by the sensor in the road or by the cameras on the mast (you can see them there in the video I believe)
And one more thing, they don't seem to use the red-yellow step when going green in Portugal. However in many European countries this step is included. The purpose is I believe to give a moment for the stick shift drivers to press the clutch and engage first gear. As most of the people still drive sticks here this is very helpful.
It's not random. We have traffic lights here with speed sensors. When cars are speeding, it turns red.
its so clean and prope, not like france :\
