Beautiful, my brother! As a brazilian, I'm so happy when I see a foreign singing his songs (his version of a song, at least)! He, who sang so low, so quietly, his entire career, was the only one capable of shake a entire soul. You sing and play exactly like he was used to do. I'll be honest, this song, played this way, remember me a girl that I loved (and still love) so hard. Whenever she kissed me, she use to look me, into my eyes. I cried hard when I was listening you played that part ("Quiero sentirte muy cerca Mirame en tus ojos Verte junto a mi"). The way that you sang was hardly emocional and even desperate, a quiet despair, really like João Gilberto original version. The only who could do that (make me cry, make me feel alive), until today, was João Gilberto. We was used to say that his intention with music was "pass on" a feeling (to the crowd, to his fans). That's why he sang so low, and gave so much focus on the guitar and on create or modify famous melodys, like he did on "Besame Mucho", of Consuelo Vasquez and "Coração Vagabundo", of Caetano Veloso. You did this, played smooth and passed on the truly feeling of desperate love with your guitar. Go on with your work, man! We, Bossa Nova lovers, need your contribution!
