Nice!...............................................
what railroad?
SMS Rail Lines
Are these fireworks for the 4th of July, the American Independence Day?
Do you call them steam locomotives or steam engines?
What is the locomotive in your PFP?
I just came across this video .... Subscribed!!!! 👍
Sophia is really moving her fingers!!! Least we forget she,😍 who keeps the steady pace!!!
😮😮😮😮
Great video man!
Don't you think it's awesome that you can make a phone call on your camera?
My heart is all gooder now,I could actually clearly see my favorite Bass player,Ms.Sophia ❤
Geary + Allen = Big Talent 🏴
If only theres was a quieter solution to dynamos, like an axle alternator or something.

Meh, whatever. It's a train 😂
My son is special needs and he loves trains 🚆🚂🚃🚄🚅🚇🚈🚉🚊🚝🚞🚋🛤 especially steam locomotives like #9 there. He is overjoyed to see it operating again and hopes that from now on it will pull both passengers and freight.
Nice! Glad you got to see 2102 in action.
Thanks! Always like to get out there when I can.
Very cool! I used to see the Tropicana train come through the town I grew up in while riding the school bus many mornings.
Yeah I used to watch them come through Wilsmere Yard every night when I lived in DE. Good times. For some reason I end up pacing CSX almost every morning going into work. Hard to believe they keep to a schedule these days.
Such a beautiful but haunting sound.
Klinkt leuk. Maar kort😅

Brady rocks!!!!!
Anni - Your head tilting to get closer to the mike on the trio parts reminds me of the practice of Arlene Harden, of The Harden Trio - they used just one mike for the family trio, and it, too, was very effective! (They had some really neat, cool songs.)
Is that Brady on the banjo? ++++++!
Yeah it is. Justin needed a night off for classes down in Tennessee, so we got a bit of a throwback performance.
@@MarkRBlackwell Phenomenal!!!!
Well done, the band and the audience both having so much fun!
Very nice, a bit hard to catch all the words. The audience loved it.

I hope that they'll run it as fast as cnj 113 if the woodstown Central railroad track speed can allow it to go fast as 113
9 will be able to do between 15-25MPH the max speed on the Woodstown Central Railroad for passenger trains is 30MPH
Everyone wants to see steam engines go fast... You gotta realize that running them fast and hard puts a lot of stress on them. They're old. You gotta take it kinda easy on them unless you want it to be in the shop all the time.
@@PowerTrain611 not all old steam trains will need to be in the shops all the time because they go too fast it depends on the steam locomotive if it's a switching steam locomotive then don't run it at high speed only run it at maximum or slower because they weren't built for speed now if an old steam train that can go fast like a 4-6-0 4-6-2 4-6-4 yes they are good to go at max as long if it is safe
@@Hozy780 You underestimate the concept of metal fatigue, especially with 100 year old parts... You can maintain it perfectly, it's still eventually going to break.
This is my other channel Trainzife but this is me Hozy speaking yes I agree with you that's all true but when they restore steam trains they usually get new parts for them and literally rebuild the whole thing @@PowerTrain611
A BLW S-12 may be?? Get the beautiful Pennsy 😍 Unit of the cold!!
Baldwin DS 4-4-1000. Very similar to its S-12 counterparts. She enjoys earning her keep on lighter days here at SMS Rail.
Hello I am railfan of sms 9 and i want t know do it burn oil and what kind also I want to go for cab ride and be engineir on it thank you
Oh, I think there is a height requirement for this ride.

I love how cinematic this video is. It starts off with nothing but crickets and darkness shrouding all, hiding from view even the time and year of the setting. Then…a distant, ghostly wail that makes the hair stand on end, intermingled moments later with the impassive blare of a diesel horn. Then, a distant light begins to illuminate the pitch blackness and rapidly approaches. Even through the bright headlamps, the locomotives are barely visible as they hurtle past, but at the head is a diesel locomotive, and at the end, being dragged behind, a steam locomotive, a relic of an age long past, perhaps being spirited away to the same fate many a steam locomotive has faced…to be rent and broken from piece to piece, left to rust and fall to ruin, smoke boxes glaring empty and lifeless like the hollowed eye of a skull. On into the blackness they go, and the lights vanish from sight as they round a curve. For a moment, the churning of machinery is still audible, but it too is quickly quieted as it fades into the distance. As the veil of darkness and the sounds of nature fade back into existence, you could almost imagine that what you witnessed never actually happened, that it was perhaps nothing more than a moment of overactive imagination…that is, until one final scream of the whistle rings out through the darkness, piercing the nocturnal veil one last time with its shrill, eerie cry… A bit melodramatic, I know. But kind of a neat narrative lens to view it through I thought lol
Actually really enjoyed that description.
Excellent collection of catches from a great spot! I'm glad you got to see 2102 in action.
Thanks, Jamie. Not the best video out there (shot on my phone), but it was a great afternoon. Ended up following the 02 ferry move as well, then caught the QANR (I think that's who it was?) switching by Premium, Chased southbound NRFF from Nesquehoning to Tamaqua before heading home. All in 12 hours without going more than 20 miles from home!
Great video and catch
Nice video and catches
Nice short video
Well done Mark. It’s been a while since 08 during railcamp in Scranton pa.
Oh that’s really creepy
NARCOA is on the R&N this weekend leaving North Reading station both morning’s

I know the whistles owner likes this video! Claimed forever when he put it on nobody posted video of it. He will be a happy camper now
Yeah I'm sure Chad has seen it haha. Had a good clip from 2020 with the echo off Kernsville Dam, but I lost that clip when I ran the old phone over with a fork truck 🙄
Great job. What it's like to hang your head out the window.... if you could. Besides 2102, interesting to see the freight yard, and everything trackside.
Good luck with your video I also do content like that
Great video. What a start up! R&N sure know how to run an excursion!
Awesome video bud
That is one of the best parts of the trip!
Great shot! I was on that ride today and really enjoyed it!
