I’m glad I aren’t the only 1 that gags. My work colleague said I need to go home until I told him I was ok it was just these smilelign on my teeth ti pull them back into shape. It’s where the smilelign touches the side of the tongue that makes you gag 🤣🤣🤣. I’m on my second day of wearing them and it feels like some of my teeth are moving already because they are aching. My top set feels slack and I’m sucking access saliva away which then makes them feel tight again

This lady already has nicely lined teeth. It’s when you have misaligned teeth that are bent at angles and sticking out and a bite that needs to be corrected is where the real PAIN comes in. They stick loads of attachments (buttons) to your teeth and on top of that elastic bands on both sides which pull down your teeth all day long creating dull pressure. Taking the trays off with so many attachments is the worst - it’s so painful, and also putting them back on. First time I put the elastic back on it flicked off and whacked the corner of my mouth making it bleed. It’s taken a few days to master the elastics. If your teeth are ok-ish there’s not much pain. If your teeth are wonky prepare for a painful start, as well as depression of not being able to eat as much because of the fear of pain of removing the trays each time.
