    I used to do flooring and have a wide thin blade scraper that would probably work perfect for this. It’s about as wide as the mud/taping knife you show for Sheetrock joints except it’s got a 5’ wooden handle.

      @Ironrodlife 11 дней назад

      Nice, in the description I link to what I found and it has a 6.5ft handle nearly touches floor to ceiling so don't have to lift arms up high now. It is thin too but not nearly as effective as the thicker tool blade. Its wider but the one i use in the video is probably 15-20% mroe effective even as a rusty bent tool. want to sharpen this thin version see if it does better - isnt bad and like a very long handle

      @ It looks like your popcorn is really baked on. If it’s as old as you said, you might want to have it checked for asbestos.

      Was outlawed in the late 60s or early 70s i think. This was made in 85. I found the thin blade tool works just fine when flipped the opposiate way it looks like it shoul dbe. Also FB spying so it showed some popcorn removal videos where in seconds a heavy duty drywall sander looking tool was just erasing it. Linked in amazon the same model the videos were showing. Curious if a standard 750 - 1000watt drywall sander could do the same, would think the more expensive version with a huge tube would be designed different even though appears the same.

    amzn.to/4fUz6Eu still on sale at 359 Update I have used this to clean many properties @ several hours a day and here's the pros cons: Using the saber 100:1 ratio it starts 1 pull if you can flip from choke to run fast enough otherwise 2 pulls runs strong like new. Guesstimate 60-80 hours on it and it's sucked two leaves in the housing industry can hear rattling. The hose length has been awesome and due to the power I hardly find myself using two like I had to with the stihl The hose is feeling a little floppy after waving around so much. Could be bc I throw it in the van and go. If it ever gets so worn then duct tape may be needed The strap used to hold the hose up can instead go across to the left shoulder strap and with the belt it is so nice being able to bend over and it not slide off or side to side on your back. I still dislike the tiny gas can hole It runs much longer than the est 70mins on the box. Much quieter than stihl or Echo or the frequency is in a way headphones easily silence it vs others can't hear anything.

    Lmao! I've never seen anyone use two at the same time! Genius idea! I'd love to see Echo, Husqvarna, and a Prorun lined up with similar specs. Maybe a Schroder too. My main concern with Prorun is it's new to me and I wonder about quality and how many years I'll get out of it.

    It's your equipment so you run it at whatever you like for your mix ratio... Personally, I follow the manufacturer's recommendation of 50:1 and am probably somewhere closer to 45:1 and i use my equipment professionally...Running adequate oil at the correct mixture versus that very expensive oil at such a lean mixture is not something I worry about from a cost to run my equipment. Oil is cheap and engines are expensive...I've never seen a 2-cycle seize up from running the proper or slightly rich mix...I have seen them seize from too lottle oil...

      I've ran the saber amsoil in dozens of 2 cycles at a 100:1 ratio as it says it is designed (in place of 50:1 engine recommendations) and have never had any engine wear with heavy use in hard worked hot / cold scenarios. Tend to let warm up for a tiny while and idle to cool off but half the time I start and full throttle . I'm saying the 100:1 which I've proven to myself works just fine and could never go back - produces zero smoke - engines start instantly, olways & even if sitting with old fuel for 6-12 months even - not only that I use junk corn ethanol gas. I'm sure you have a junker engine you could test on and then could publically announce its win or loss in your case (it will be a win bc ive tried several 2 cycles and never have they ran as well as this)

    it's just a redmax 8500 clone. the original 8500 boasts 40N of blowing force. 908 cfm at 206 mph. now these manufacturers that make these clones *COULD* have changed the impeller design but no one has opened one up to my knowledge to prove this. in any case the original 8500 is a far cry from it's current third iteration, the 8560 which is rated 47N of blowing force doing 1000 cfm at 220 mph. then there's the echo 9010 as you mentioned, rated at 48N doing 1110 cfm at 220 mph as well. and finally the new redmax 9000 which is rated at a crazy 56N (so they claim) doing 1245 cfm at 216 mph.

    • @won2phuckme
      @won2phuckme 2 месяца назад

      Redmax ebz9000 is by far WAY more power then needed for most people. As a landscaping business owner I have used both the echo pb9010 and also the new redmax ebz9000. The redmax is 54N compared to 48N on the echo. You need to have your footing in place before throttling up the redmax. It is WITHOUT a doubt the MOST POWERFUL blower on the market. Not without flaws tho, I do not like the e-tune system and the electronic controlled carb. To replace will cost BUKU dollars. Our fleet mostly consitis of Redmax ebz8560's. They are the best blower on the market as far as abuse, easy to repair, parts are readily accessible. As a landscaper or a home owner Would NEVER buy a piece of junk like this above. A single use machine with hyped up specs that is made with cheap parts in China. Go try and find some info about it...VERY SHADY, nor can you buy ANY parts. We fix our own machines but dealers won't even look a "prorun" should be called a norun lol. SAVE YOURSELF THE wasted 400, and instead, if insisting on buying at a big box store, get a echo or a Husqvarna. 5 year warentee vs 1year??? Says all I need to know. Even when purchasing from my dealer for my commercial machines they offer a 2 year warentee! If for homeowner use the big 4, Stihl, Echo(shindawoa) , Redmax(Husqvarna) all offer a 5 year wanrentee. Avoid this made in China crap. It sounds like garbage and the tube mounted throttle looks despicable. to the person making this review, what are you talking about you use 2 backpacks at once?? You don't feel quality LOL, anyway GOOD LUCK FINDING PARTS!!! Clearly made in China, and assembled in a storage unit in North Carolina that can fit maybe 20 people. Prove me wrong and I will delete the comment. Send me all the information where it is made, how to contact that manufacturer and where to get parts. Then I may think about not hating on it

    Glad you got it off, but I used a 12" Crescent wrench on the fan clutch and a large screwdriver wedged between the pump pulley bolts to loosen it. BTW, I saw another video where a fellow tapped the fan clutch nut a few times and it loosened it. BTW, It is easy to tell the cars from up North...There is rust all over them and in this case your channel lock pliers are rusty..lol

    I was not ready to buy or rent a universal engine water pump pulley removal tool for one time use. So I took a heavy duty “L” bracket I had laying around, flattened it out with a hammer and bolted a machine screw through an existing hole in the bracket and lined it up with the pulley to see if the existing screw holes would work. It was off by about a half an inch so I drilled a new hole and bolted the other screw in place. I inserted the new tool into the pulley holes and with channel lock pliers, since I did not have a 36mm wrench I removed the fan with remarkable ease.
