Landon, we need 10-15 new quality players on defense alone. Zavion Hardy the #1 JUCO player went to South Carolina not to State, we lost our best corner ... there are holes everywhere. Toledo run at will on us and so was every other team. On top of that the SEC blessed us with the 2nd hardest schedule in all of NCAA right behind Oklahoma. We play 4 homegames against playoff teams and 1 against a borderline playoff team. How many do we win ? We were patient in 24 ... but clock is ticking ... i wanna see real progress in 25 and at least 2 SEC wins. Count with me Landon ... Homegames: Arizona State L, Texas L, UGA L, Vols L, Ole Miss L Awaygames: Florida L, Mizzou L, Aggies L ... i give us an outside shot at Arkansas and count the 3 other non con games as wins ... thats 4-8 at best and that will not do the trick.

Landon we are cooked. Another 2-3 win season is incoming. We not only lost our QB, our best WR and both corners, no we didnt get any guys for the trenches. Coach Turner did not get the job done. Simple is that. And if a QB joins Auburn and gives his former OC not even a visit that is bad and i mean really bad. To be clear i did not want Arnold here but that he flatout ignored Lebby is hard to swallow. We have the 2nd hardest schedule in all of NCAA with 4 homegames against playoff teams and 1 against a borderline top 15 team. How many games can we win and what will the average fan do ? He will stay away. Lebby better get this trenches and offense fixed or he will be gone after the 2025 season. Lebby lost a lot of trust in the fanbase. We can have 15 5 star QB´s if any highschool can score near 40 on you at will and dominate you. We need dudes in the trenches.

Probably going to be a whole lot of “Marcus Dupree” stories in this new era of NIL and transfer portal. Whole lot of kids letting their Dad, step-dad, mom, Uncle, cousin, pastor, etc…. Someone they believe has their best interest, but truly just robbing you blind… Dupree essentially had his Pastor as his agent. Pastor told him he needed to leave OU and go to Southern Miss, Pastor didn’t like him being so far away, can’t control him all the way in Oklahoma… before he could even suit up for a game for Southern Miss he got him drafted by the USFL the New Orleans Breakers. Every time he got a game check he’d have to give it to Pastor to “invest it for me…..” left the Breakers 2 years later and didn’t have a dollar to his name….

I like chase and Neal but they don’t know much about what is going on at Mississippi State. Our actual starting qb is still on the roster and that is who Lebby wanted for next year. We just recruited the highest rated qb in our history. There wasn’t really a place to pay Van Buren when he likely wasn’t going to start next year and isn’t considered the future. If you watch closely throughout the year, Lebby wasn’t overly thrilled about MVB’s play.

💯 no reason to have multiple portal periods. Do spring portal you have all of March-April to make your transfer moves. Mini-camps in the summer and then you have preseason ball. The one reason to maybe keep spring ball the you at least give kids a view of what the team is looking like and what their role might be…. Kids that were looking like they’re stuck as a role player might move into a starting role… and this kid is now QB so this is better now… etc….

I love the podcasts you guys put on but why do we keep whining about the SEC not getting more teams in? It’s about representation! Look across all sports and entertainment, every league tries to give opportunities to many fanbases because if you just give one conference the ticket in the other fanbases will not watch. Look at the NFL the Falcons are likely going to the playoffs but they are 6-6 and honestly not a great team but they lead their division so they get to represent that division. That’s just the way things work. Give every fanbase hope and you will get buy in from everyone aka more money and viewership!
