After flying the RV for 12 years without an alt air door, I thought it was time to get it installed. In my opinion really not too much of a chance to ingest something into the airbox that would cause an issue but it has and does happen. Also discovered a fuel leak at the electric fuel pump inlet connection. Fuel leaks are bad so I am happy I decided to do this.

Added a heat shield and another blast tube between exhaust and aft end of the alternator. Hopefully will get more than two years of use from my automotive alternator. I mean, they last for many years in autos/trucks. The only difference must be because of heat! He's my attempt to fix this problem.

Before going nuclear and pulling the number two cylinder, an expert recommend a trick he had recommended to a couple others in the past that had worked. He said to me "No promises but worth a try." I AM SO GLAD I DID.

A big thank you to Mr. Bradley and Julius for a super professional job well done. This crew replaced the old, rusty and disgusting door rails all around our hangar. As you'll see, the old ones were a real mess. These guys swept up the debris with a huge sweeper not once but twice! Such a super job and they made it look easy! Definitely an upgrade!!!

Leg two of my trip. Stopping here to visit family before heading home. I am a fair weather pilot only, VFR, so weather I always watch closely and lately it's been simply beautiful! Wish they could all be like this.

A few clips of a flight I took last Sunday to Kennet, Missouri. I went to visit a friend I've known for 60 years who is now in a nursing home. Beautiful weather and nice flight.

This video involved the in-cockpit camera which is my really old GoPro. The gopro 11 is on the wing tip. Love that camera and the wifi ability to turn it on and off. I use my mac's iMovie for editing and although it's not too difficult, it's still labor intensive! A few hours goes into each video I create. Thanks for watching!
