Lloronas, Amanda Vega, to make a mixtape of songs that embody the energy
of Fuck the Patriarchy. We talk about writing songs to share a message
vs writing songs to share an emotion, what it means to be a woman in a
punk rock band, how female musicians have transcended genre and how the
upcoming generation of musicians are showing that the future of music is
in good hands. This was recorded earlier this summer, but feels more
relevant than ever today.
