In total, there were 36 horses and riders which represent almost two full c...

IT'S FINISHED!! Building a Forge | Part 5
I wish we had a group such as yourselves in my area, but for Templars or even all military orders in general would love to have some hospitallers, teutons, and templars, knights of St. Lazarus, etc.
Yeah, we Templars had your territory pretty limited until the Pope gave y’all the ok to wage crusades in the Baltic region 🤣
Italian from Breskia here! Brescia sounds like Bresha anyway great video, very informative!
Insert "Die Eisenfaust en Lanzenschaft." Here
Amazing to see it in real life im huge medieval era fan nice work 😎
Wo ist das?
knights in shining armor are badass
Even though centuries have passed, the Crusades still remain an open wound between the Christian and Muslim worlds. It does not seem easy to resolve the problems from the past between the two groups belonging to different beliefs and civilizations. This may be a situation arising from the nature of both civilizations. However, the cannibalism that took place during the Crusades and other atrocities committed by Christians are still alive in the memories of Muslims. Western Christendom has asked for forgiveness from Orthodox Christians for some of their mistakes. However, they refrained from confronting the inhumane crimes they committed against Muslims and never considered apologizing. Western historians, who did not want Christianity to be harmed, either attributed the blame for some crimes, which they had difficulty in denying, to a certain group, which they defined as a mob, or claimed that Muslims deserved whatever the crusaders did. Meanwhile, the cases of cannibalism that occurred during the Crusades were the most difficult situation for them to deal with or explain. Some biased Western writers have ignored these incidents by not mentioning them at all. Some of them tried to alleviate the crime by saying that it was an unintentional act done in the face of an obligation such as hunger. Some have questioned the reliability of important references such as Chanson d'Antioche, which provides detailed information about the crusaders who ate human flesh, by looking for chronological inconsistencies in the description of such cases in the sources or by claiming that it is only a literary work. Sometimes, placing the blame on marginalized groups such as the "Tafurs", who they implied might be Gypsies, seemed to be a way of avoiding responsibility for the sin in question. Another thing put forward by those who were looking for an excuse for what the Crusaders did was that there were no real cannibalism incidents, and that the recorded cases were just a tactical game planned to gain psychological advantage over the enemy, or in other words, a cannibalistic role. As a result, the cannibalism mentioned in the Crusades, which Christians do not want to face, are facts and have occurred. Unless the Christian world apologizes for the cannibalism and other inhumane crimes committed during the Crusades, the hatred of Turks and Muslims towards them will remain alive and Westerners will always be remembered as man-eaters.

What would a Warhammer 40k armor pattern look like?
Что за клоуны.
People have got to keep this alive for the sake of history. They were heroes who shaped our lives today.
Greta thundbergs brother I see

I want to know where he got that armet looking helm 😭
Would there be any chance of any archers joining your company?.
We need more archers actually, so yes
The only trouble is with me I live in Northern Ireland if I was over living where you are I would seriously consider but all the same it is really good what you are doing and I would love to see more of what you are doing it’s really good stuff we’ll done to you all 👍a big thumbs up to you all .
Great video. Goes to show what craftmanship goes into making a harness. That being said, I'm looking forward to the next video!
Would it not be better to lower the lance before impact than to hold it couched at such speed?
The act of couching makes it easier to ride the horse correctly. Having said that, the lowering of the lance was done in stages, which makes it somewhat gradual. We used the somewhat shorter lances (short end of the historical spectrum) this event, whereas one french source talks about 16 foot lances (467 cm) in ash, which we had a few of around, but those are geavy to handle. The lowering in stages as described does mean you only drop onto target late, but that is the last few feet of tip movement. As we did this charge over 231 m stretch there is a pause in the lowering, which is described in jousting treatises... so not horizontal but mostly down
Comedic timing was perfect😂
This was the best pass you had to post? Must have been a rough show
Awesome work as usual mate👍
That was the largest 15th century cavalry charge, and it only had twenty horses?
I liked all about this except the title.
It is your duty to keep this legacy alive. Hail to the Knights Templar👑👑👑
Sooo
Teutonic it’s a rad word
Is there a version where you can hear them? I always have read the sound of incoming lancers was the scariest sound on earth for centuries but afaik there is no living memory of such a thing unless we create it like this.
Wish we could have heard that thunderous charge without the music. I remember being at a polo match amazed at the sound of the horses running up and down the field
Used this for working a saw blade into a knife. Worked great! Used the tempering process used for katana(not the folding process haha).
German scheiss Viecher
Crusade on lithuanian lands
May I ask why is the equation Energy=MassxSpeed of light^2 on the front
largest ? the are three dozens
cool! it's surprising 'cause the black cross on white background is also the emblem of country (brittany)
this video was exactly what I needed as a reference when designing knight armor sounds for a video game project I'm working on. Thank you so much for not drowning these sounds in music completely!
German Knight and teutonic Knight is more or less the Same teutonic Order translates Into deutschritter Orden wich just jemand German Knight Order
