What a depressing place it has turned into, Gresham area just up the road is a shit tip full of druggies, dealers, prostitutes, thieves, pimps, and is full of foreigners from everywhere.

Is it calm

This is so sad to watch, the town used to be very busy, thousands of people shopping, now everything has shut, mostly due to greedy council asking for sky high rents. All the big name shops have gone, the council has failed and should be held responsible, they have turned a once busy and vibrant town in to a shithole.

20 years ago 1000s of people its dead now - maybe cause its unsafe or internet shopping took over

The best thing about MC is somewhere in the outskirts, there's an estate filled with simple people just trying to get by, no matter what shenanigans a certain lover of the drink gets up to. It's a British TV show.

What time of the year it was recorded?

From things I have read and watched on here, my view of Middlesbrough was not that high. However, this seems like a bustling town with an upbeat feel. Very few closed down shops bar the big department stores (which I think are being redeveloped), cafes, lots of different restaurants. Lots of people about considering it was a Sunday. Good to see.

Immigration and a Labour run council for years, my shock.. Oh and Islam Another decent town utterly destroyed.

A city to take pride in when seen in this light, ignoring the professional beggars that is.

30 to 40 years ago it was a place i loved to go shopping, over the years it has declined, i made my final visit there around six months ago and sadly it was my last. I love the town and its people but its not what it used to be.

How beautiful country are we going to hand this over to the Muslims and the asylum seekers that are invading our country? It won’t look like that in 50 years time they’re taking over our churches our areas no areas just for them.

Did you notice how the shard has no other floors than the ones they make you go up? Notice the lack of office workers milling around? Notice how absurd it would be to work on any of these floors whilst taking smoke break or generally going out for 5 minutes. I did.
