The OPEN Swing Dance Championships is the oldest International Swing Dance competition of the year. Competitors from all over the world work all year long preparing their routines, in order to dazzle and delight the crowds. The attendees look forward to the Open knowing they are going to witness some of the most amazing dance performances that will be seen in one place at one time. Competitors compete for the prized title...US OPEN SWING DANCE CHAMPION!
There is always excitement and electricity in the air. With a lot of social dancing scheduled, dancers get to experience hours of dancing with their old and new found friends. This will be the US Open Swing Dance Championships 36th Anniversary. We invite you to come and become part of the US Open family. The OPEN is held every Thanksgiving Weekend in Burbank, CA.

So sorry these dancers were good but Thibault & Nicole who got 1st place were the ones these would have to beat. Thibault & Nicole had a lot more tricks that matched up to the beats in the music & a lot more content in their dance. The judges got it right giving Thibault & Nicole 1st place
