My great grandparents were from Cadereyta so ive always wanted to visit Nuevo Leon. Also had some family from Matamoros Tamaulipas and a small place down in Guanajuato. Are those safe places to go?

If you are thinking about visiting Machu Picchu, don't put it off. I finally got there at age 81. It was very demanding physically and I was fully exhausted, but very glad that I went. You can put other parts of the world off until after retirement. But the younger you go to MP, the more you will be able to enjoy it.

The skyscraper you mentioned as the tallest building in latinamerica, is actually not the tallest. The tallest is in downtown Monterrey, just crossing the hill from where you were. Its call T.OP. tower The building you were showing is KOI Tower which is in San Pedro whis is a bit shorter

The amount of planning that it took before it even started is almost impossible to comprehend how could it have even been invisioned let alone planned and executed and created by the people and not have one thing not work the water that flows there to this day that flows from the top through the entire site and could still support 100s if not a few thousand people if put back into growing food .it's so spectacular that I don't think a group of engineers would be able to get a site anywhere so perfectly well tuned to be self sufficient
