I played this game so long ago and even when they were updating it adding area's like the academy I never could get in because I failed a boss fight and my account got bugged so I never could get the forest gem and I never could progress. Granted there wasn't much to progress to since the ending didn't exist but it made little me sad.

I have fond memories of Prodigy and while I WOULD go back and play it, I don’t remember my old login for my account with all my progress where I’ve beaten at least 1 maybe 2 areas, fairly high leveled and a plethora of pets, I’m not going to regrind this game I played in 5th grade. I have this thing where that if I lose substantial progress in a game I cannot bring myself to start again from scratch. So I shall look back on this game with rose tinted glasses and a minor amount of salt, but mostly fondness.

I loved how Prodigy used to be; I played it all the time when I was little, but they've changed it a lot since then.. (mainly the art style and english edition)

omg back when i was in second and third grade, i grinded the dungeon in the academy or whatever it is to get all the gear from it. idk if that stuff was good back then but it was the best thing i could find. and the dungeon was a fun and different part of the game

lol it took me my first try to beat puppet master, it was really annoying but easy at the same time. also when i first played prodigy it was AMAZING.... but then i got to level 100 and i could not think what to do, but then the ancient island came with new relics and everything! it was fun. prodigy if you see this massage please do some cool part 2 to the ancient island.

I remember playing this constantly after they introduced it in school. And I didn’t know it wasnt finished at the time? AND NOW IM IN HIGH SCHOOL AND ITS FINISHED???

I’m a super old Prodigy player and I’m so surprised that this got recommended to me! Back when the game didn’t have its new merchandiseable art, I remember discovering Will’s Cheat Code and gave myself all pets lvl 100 and membership 😭 now all of my epics are unusable because they were hacked in and the game doesn’t count them as pets anymore 😢 Also, my biggest complaint is that my beloved Tarragon is ABSOLUTE DOG in this new battle system. It only knows neutral attacks, and its elemental attacks require you to wait turns. Tarragon used to be as good as Embershed with water move coverage, but now it plays like you’re slapping opponents with a wet noodle. BRING BACK MY BOY. He’s my OG starter and the king of all Prodigy pets, fight me 😤 Shout out to my homies who remember the 6-pet battle system and getting battle stars every time you used a move!

I will (actually, already have) steal Prodigy's idea and do this with my actual math. (I'm homeschooled and do math on my computer.) It works... Mostly fine. Though I think that maybe one equation at a time is a little too switchy. So maybe like... 3 equations at a time? And with 25 questions (which is how much is in a lesson) that's only... 5 breaks in my game!

i remember getting softlocked on my old account because i needed 2 of some random item in the fire world and i needed to kill 2 of the special enemies in order to obtain them. the collecting glitched out and i got into a fight at the same time i was about to claim the item so i was left with only one item. the enemies couldnt even respawn either so i was just screwed. the sad part is that it was the last gem stone thing i needed in order to get all 5. maybe the quest looks different now but this was in like 2017 so

Why is the ending of this game is better than Generation Zero tho. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 (Fr though at least this actually has a final boss fight and somewhat a closer to the game.)

I used to love prodigy so much We got introduced to it in like 3rd grade and I was completely hooked But with the constant paywalls and new monster designs it isn’t really as fun/charming anymore. I hope they can improve in the future!

Havent played this game in forever. It looks so different 😭 i remember when you could evolve your mons for free, and i only got mine to be halfway
