The Brass Collective, founded in Berlin in 2020, is an exciting new ensemble dedicated to exploring contemporary brass music. This dynamic quintet, with experienced chamber musicians from three continents, strives to promote and support contemporary composers from diverse backgrounds around the world, thus forging links between cultures, through music. Their commitment to new music and exploring new sound worlds in brass is matched by their vision for democratising experimental and modern music, bringing performances to refugee camps as well as concert halls and festivals, while reaching a wider audience via social media and schools’ workshops.
