This special tool is for 78mm and the wheel bearing is 72 mm. This tool works ok even if the bearing is smaller?

Nice but for my radio I need a wire with 12Volt when the (head) lights go on in order to dim the display. Can't find such a freaking wire ....

I would advise anyone doing this to remove the cv axle retention bolt first to avoid pulling the inner joint apart by accident .

I did this job yesterday on a 2018 Skoda superb. It was very simple really. Important to remember to put the park brake in the off position and turn off the ignition first though. Then just a 7mm allen key for the two cliper bolts and 5mm allen key for the two EPB motor bolts. Once the motor is off, turn the multi spline clockwise, fully in. It's easy and you don't need to use a tool, you can do it with your fingers - it ensures you don't break anything that way too. Push the caliper piston all the way back - I just used a really weak quick clamp, it went in easy. Remember to take the lid off the brake fluid reservior and ensure it doesn't overflow when you push the piston in. Refit the EPB motor, refit the new pads and caliper. Press the footbrake a few times. Turn on the ignition, activate the park brake. The motor will wind until it meets the disc then stop. Job done, no fault codes, no issues.

Do you necessarily need to disconnect the EPB? I've seen other videos where people don't.

I just did this and did not have to remove the gearbox or the electrical connection. Just used the caliper tools. Took me half the time.

If you dont remove the abs sensor before extracting the bearing the spacer you put at the rear of the hub will wipe it out as the bearing comes out.........just saying!.
