Have you had the fingerboard lacquered or coated in epoxy? I recall Tony Franklyn commenting to me about the maple-fingerboard edition of his signature model that a maple fingerboard isn’t conducive to a fretless format.

Beautiful instrument. Similar in tone to your Sandberg but the SandBerg midtones had more clarity. Slightly more. could be stirngs or setting I realize. Would love to hear the range of the Fodera from Front to Rear. : )

Beautiful playing Andreas, you never fail to deliver, precise intonation and those little Jaco nuances. I've owned two Jaco Relic jazz basses previously, regretted selling them both and now have the Jaco Artist jazz bass as a compromise, still sounds great though. Keep up the great work, Jaco lives on in all this wonderful material 🙏🎵🎶🙏
