ToeJam & Earl - Hot Tub% (Random World) WR 0:30.85 seconds
I didn't believe it would actually ever happen!
The goal was to spawn santa from an earthling present on level 1, then steal rocket skates to make it to the Hot Tub without having to go to level 2. It worked! I couldn't believe it was happening. I almost blew it though x D. I didn't even make real splits for it because of how low the likelihood was. The first split I hit was the ending time. (Frame counted to 30.85 seconds)

14:35 How did you hold that jump on rocket skates untill then? Nice run btw 👍
Whenever I open rocket skates I hold down A when doing so, that way I don't jump at the beginning of the skates. So I had the button held down the whole time until I let go right before the water and jumped.
Somehow this is my first time watching a TJ&E speedrun! I recently became a Blindfolded SM64 speedrunner and I thought to myself it would be fun to try and route a blindfolded run for a game no one has done yet. TJ&E Fixed World Any% was the first thing that came to mind. How possible do you think that is?

you say "I need to walk in the grass in case she (hula girl) gets me", why?
I think you're talking about level 12. I had Rose Bushes active, and if you're on the road the Rose Bushes don't stick around when you press the button, but they do stick around on grass. If you get caught by a Hula Girl and start dancing while you have Rose Bushes, you can press A and spawn a bush and hurt yourself to snap out of dancing if you are on the grass. So I was trying to remind myself to stay in a spot where I could hurt myself with the bushes if I started dancing.

Just opening the menu and activating the present quickly. Lots of repetition and muscle memory.
