The base price for an XT-4 isn't that bad. In today world of hyperinflation, $41K for a Cadillac sounds like a steal. Even if it is for a sub-compact crossover.

I just bought my base trim Mirage and have driven it some on highway, city, and some hills. I am very impressed with everything so far. This 78 horsepower vehicle has noticeably more power than my 117 horsepower Honda Fit. You won't be winning any races with either of those cars, but the Mirage is far more powerful than the numbers would suggest. I got up to 65 mph on the highway easily (not in 2 seconds but it gets the job done safely), and I maintained the 65 with very little pressure on the gas pedal on level ground. As a kid, I always gravitated to kids who were seen by the masses as "lame"/"not cool", as they were often secretly the coolest, most reliable, and most fun kids to be around. That's the Mirage!

Quick note: the D-4S system does both port- and direct-injection for fuel, which means no carbon build up on the valves + more powerful combustion in the chamber. Also, this engine is not turbocharged -- the high compression ratio is how it gets the 228 horsepower without a turbo. Love seeing these things on the road. Keep up the good work! He got a couple of key things wrong. He said it was turbocharged, but they are not. He called it a "D45 Boxer," which is a misnomer. "D-4S" refers to the Direct & Port Fuel Injection System that these cars use. It's a very cool car. There's room for improvement in his presentation, factually speaking, but I appreciate him sharing this GR86 with us nonetheless. Cheers 🍻

Hi Troy! I'm currently leasing a 2022 Kona Limited FWD. Loving the new 2024 redesign and for the price, this is the ONLY crossover with heated AND cooled seats, heated steering wheel, sunroof, power liftgate, OTA updates, and navigation standard! Oh, and the AWD version includes a Spare Tire! Yippeee!!!!!!!! I do agree that the mpg is awful, but as the 1.6L Turbo is the same engine as I have in my current Kona, I can understand why. Still, the A/T should be better than the Dual Clutch (DCT), which is annoying at times. I do mostly local suburban driving, so the mpg is not a deal breaker for me. Oh, and I forgot about the Self Park, where you can freak out your neighbors as you park your car while standing OUTSIDE the Kona! LOL
Do you like it so far? I like the new design of the new Kona it looks more upscale than the 2022 even though it’s nice too! The only thing I dislike is the power which it was upgraded. For all the features and amenities you can’t go wrong on top of the warranty I love that!!
We can get the kingcab in Canada with 6ft bed. It has Lane Departure Warning and not Lane Keep Assist. It has hydraulic power steering. I have a 2023 Glacier White Pro 4x and love it. Great truck

Nissan did just enough with the re-design to keep selling these, but not nearly enough to be a class-leader.
It’s a huge step up from the last generation but it’s far from a class leader of trucks better more upscale trucks out there for the money
Nissan have said they were not aiming to be class leaders. They wanted a truck that does everything competently and it does that whilst looking good.
@troymccrazy 4 cylinder turbo engines won't hold up to the naturally aspirated engine. Easy to repair, and is a proper truck. You don't need fancy gimmicks for a pick up truck in my opinion.

I’m happy Nissan kept the V6 going which was wise on their part. I’m not a fan of turbocharged four cylinder engines very unrefined and loud. The fuel mileage wouldn’t increase much if they did it

I don't know about anyone else but, you put a coupe with the targa top off next to a "convertible" with the top down and they look the SAME, except for the little window. Yes, I know its the only way to facilitate the hard top being stowed, but I rather a soft top disappearing under a tonneau. Like my C6 or the C7's.....
