The main show does suffer some repetition as well, it's just different patterns repeating. I think I lucked out and watched most of it as it released instead of all at once so the repetition is less obvious thanks to the downtime between seasons. As far as Negan, I liked him as a villain. However, I think his arc as the villain went a little too long. He kinda had the same problem I mention the protagonists have in Fear The Walking Dead in that there was a point that if it weren't for plot armor he should've just killed Rick and some of the others as they were obviously never going to really follow him.

@shanenice5380 They have an Elemental battle pack for the Clans and a Battle Armor battle pack for the Inner Sphere. So they have armored infantry in plastic but not basic infantry. Some people use pieces from the Mechwarrior Dark Age since they're prepainted so long as they are the right faction.

@Homecutmusic You're right in that there are a few things leaning that way. History says it's going to go real bad. If there are more seasons it's entirely possible that things do go bad. But right now our heroes are aligned with a movement that is going to kill lots if innocent people and literally become known as the reign of terror. It's not a good look. Edit to add: I do appreciate the comment and pointing out that I did fail to mention the subtle hints that things are all sunshine.

@ I hear you. The desire for democracy obv was something to be admired. Obviously the means questionable. Maria’s is struggle has a parallel there (using her powers initially for good but then going quite dark). Notice Alucard’s look of concern when she says “They deserve to die”. The Reign of Terror starts right around when Nocturne ends. Also, massacre happened in Machecoul (where most of Nocturne is set) during this period. I even think there’s was an eclipse in France in late 1792/3 too. I think you’re right, the heroes broadly speaking did align themselves with the objectives on the Revolution (anti-slavery, anti-Aristocrat-Vamp alliance). In real life there were heroes who aligned themselves with that cause too. Before Reign of Terror and the Napoleon turned an already messy situation into a very corrupt and murderous one.

@bstoker9468 This season just popped up a couple weeks ago. I won't say you shouldn't rewatch the first series because it was pretty good. But, plot wise, the two are barely connected since their a few hundred years apart. Definitely watch the first season of Nocturne though.

If you mean Tamar Rising, I thought it was good. It's a lore book, not a novel. It covers the area that used to be the Jade Falcon Occupation Zone that is now mostly defenseless. So it details an areas where there is lots of room for fighting and needing mercenaries.

As far as I have been able to tell they were only made for that display. I'll see if anyone is open to the idea of making a few for people to buy if I am able to talk to anyone important at GenCon in August.

@bstoker9468 Yeah it's definitely a cool poster. Very much in the tradition of VHS movies in the 80s having awesome covers to sucker you into renting terrible movies.

@@shanenice5380 If you mean Iron Wind as far as being surprised they are still in business, they make most of their money through a different venture. Last I heard their main business is making metal game pieces for games like Monopoly. The BattleTech stuff is a side business basically. Good luck with the 3D printer if you decide to get one.

I was mainly looking at this through a first world view point but you are definitely right about helping third world countries.

I too am surprised on this take from Hollywood. Maybe it's a roundabout way to raise awareness as to the situation we are all in? I don't think they are trying to glorify it because Billy Bob's character seems to also be clear on his view that we are going to run out of oil before we find a substitute. Or maybe it's like The Matrix where they didn't realize just how subversive it could be?

I should've asked (and if I think of it I will ask this year) if they intend to make those.

Which Hot Spot? Hinterlands? Let us know how it is. I know a number of people go the 3D printer route. There's 1 or 2 mechs I have considered buying that way because they are variants that will never see official release (Kuritan/Samurai versions of some mechs mainly).
