Breaking Benjamin - Live and Acoustic.
So Im just gonna put it out there. I did the city miles. I was in a band for over 20+ years and had the pleasure to open up for another resident PA group, Breaking Benjamin. I had the pleasure of also opening up for Live at the Chameleon, Fuel, Dishwalla, even Peter Gabriel at his secret show in Philly at the TLA before his Woodstock appearance - the list goes on and on. But Benjamin Burnley is like Justin from Blue October. Thoughtful and so honest in his writing, his lyrics on a sleeve, and he writes all the songs like Furstenfeld. Nothing against Matt Pinfield or the Storytelling format, but most of us just want to hear the music. I saw em live in Huntsville. The greatest show I’ve ever been apart of. And I’ve seen kiss, Pink Floyd, and counting crows. Blew my mind. Amazing musicians.

It’s definitely not what it used to be but it’s just gotten that much better. You can feel the emotional journey that Justin went through, including addiction. As a former addict myself, these songs have always hit me hard but with my five years coming up soon they hit even harder. Every time I listen to them I get all up in my feels, good and bad. Those of us that have been Blue fans since the beginning can appreciate how much it’s changed but still stayed the same.

I could listen to Blue October day in and day out and never get tired of it. Justin makes you feel every word. He is a true artist and talent. Ryan and the other guys are such great musictians.

Just saw them last week with Switchfoot and Matt Nathansen. I had soundcheck and got to experience acoustic "Fear" played in my face in a small little conference room at the Casino. This band saved my life, more than once. Thanks for posting this. Blue Family!!!!

Met Justin at their concert at the Fillmore in North Carolina with my daughter. I had never heard of them before, but now you guys are my favorite. I love your songs and the delivery.
