Lord drilling all those limber holes is a lot of work. I did the same thing on Mk VII when the kit came out years ago. Nice kit but the IX C is so much more impressive because of its size.

OMG those photo-etch parts and brass would drive me insane, I built it without using the upgrade parts or wooden deck, but I'm satisfied with model, just happy to build a type VII in 1:72 scale

Die Torpedowerfer sind zwischen den Aufbauten.
Die Arbeit und das Ergebnis sind top.Das Modell kann sich sehen lassen .Ich habe eine Frage zu den verwendeten Farben.Welche Marke(n)hast Du für die Lackierung und die Alterung benutzt?Du zeigst dies zwar,aber ist manchmal nicht gut zu lesen bzw. es geht sehr schnell.Ich danke die schon mal für die Antworten.Ich habe vor Kurzem dasselbe Modell erworben und der Bau soll bald starten.Danke für die zahlreichen Anregungen und Tipps im Video.

Why do videos that lack narration always seem to have weird background music??? Do the producers of these videos have their young children pick the music out? it sure sounds like it.

Unfortunately, I can't say. I haven't had the Revell kit in my hands yet.

The German destroyers of that era were very handsome ships, almost light cruisers. But as warships they left a lot to be desired unfortunately

@@marcusaureliusantoninusaug2161 The number one problem was the engine spaces. They were designed so it was nearly impossible to maintain the sort of servicing needed to keep a ship at sea. It was one of the main reasons they broke down so often. After the war it was also found that the welding used on the hulls was really sub standard even by German standards. The biggest issue the Germans had when designing these ships, there was no one left in the navy that had actually served on destroyers during WW1. So the designers sort of had to guess at the practicality they were designing.
@@glenchapman3899 Thanks for the explanation! Many were wasted in Norway anyways. Using destroyers as naval invasion support ships is not textbook doctrine. They should have been there to cover against subs and scout for enemy fleets, while battleships and heavy cruisers provide fire support from a save position. The Germans didn't have enough battleships to do that and they sacrificed their cruisers too, Blucher was sunk on her first combat mission if I recall correctly, by sending her so close to the shore where she received crossfire from coastal defenses. Stupid.

Great work albeit a bit unrealistic. They're still at biomass tier and you've put way too much biomass around your diorama! The place would have been picked clean by that point! ;)

6 минут посмотрел, больше не смог, ладно орудийные башни, но корпус, это минимум 4 цвета, а автор и не думает наносить краску, иди оты что собирают пластик так как если бы сами его отлили мне не интересны, а залить все краской после сборки лишь бы как, и Дурак сможет.

Destroyers are good models to build in this scale. They are attractive ships, and they do not take up too much space in order to display.
