Lmao loved this episode! 😅🧡🧡 Terry, I’m forever going to want to watch 4tbelowzero because there’s so many things you guys touch upon that hit close to home. The feeling where you start to wonder if people will bail out because things are going wrong for you, is so relatable. For instance, I’ve been making videos on RUclips for 6 1/2 years talking about multiple sclerosis and incontinence. Early on, my vision looks fine however, over the couple of years I’ve started to notice that my nystagmus is more noticeable. It’s one of the biggest insecurities I have because I hate when my pupils don’t look in the same direction. But just like Nix says, if people are going to judge based on what their reality may turn out like, then it is what it is. The show must go on. And I hope you guys forever post videos because like you guys have mentioned in previous episodes, your podcast is like therapy. Listening to you guys talk always makes my day so much more better. So thank you!🧡🧡

The one thing I find that many of us oftentimes forget about is that being different is what’s so beautiful, so keep being you Alex! I agree with your friend whose told you to embrace disability because it goes a long way when you’re able to prioritize your needs first before others. “A physical disability doesn’t have anythign to do with intelligence.” YESS, in other words, our disabilities Do NOT define us! Your worth comes from who you are as a person, not from your abilities! Alex, I love how you’ve taken a bad situation and found the positives to it! For instance, you mention how the bad news put your life into perspective and if something doesn’t go your way,then you find your own path and work hard. This was one of my favorite episodes. Great stories, laughs, it had it all. The mental health thing is huge. I'm hoping as a society we can start to talk more openly about it. Feels like too many are suffering in silence ♥ P.S. Love his humor!

I love the reaction video with the two different perspectives! The part where Terry mentions how much easier it is to notice problems with vision when one eye is closed, very true! I don't have optic neuritis but while having nystagmus and double vision, I do find it easier to see a bit better when I close my left eye. The way the guy grabs the lady's leg is exactly how it feels to walk. While trying to take one step forwards, it's as if you go back a couple of steps in the process. Drives me up the wall. Lmao the part where they're having dinner, I thought the lady was having mood swings as it seems to be common with MS lolll. No matter how hard we try to ignore MS, it's always going to be there and this video does a great job at showing that. "The face of being disappointed in yourself of not living up the expectation" of others... yeah quite relatable! I do find it quite awesome how her person is quite supportive or at least brushes things off because not a lot of guys are like that! But I also see her struggling in silence. Nix - I think it's quite awesome that you've come to accept the problems with your vision. I could be wrong but correct me if I am. It seems that similar to me you see problems with your vision as "it is what it is". I've convinced myself I am going to go blind in my left eye at some point but I mean, if we're looking at the positives, at least I have two eyes right?! The part where the lady starts crying over the pregnancy test. I feel like you could see it in two ways: 1) The fear of having Multiple Sclerosis while taking care of your baby. 2) With the way MS throws the ball, I started to wonder if it was because that was MS's way of saying that the child is going to have MS too?! While you guys talk about how refreshing that video was, here I am smiling because I feel the very same way when you guys upload an episode sp thank you! You guys are awesome! <3

Sweet Jesus you guys, what a rollercoaster of a ride this story is! I am so angry on Brian's behalf but also grateful that he made it out of this ordeal alive! Thank you for this video, this story, this outcome. I cried, I laughed...and man, I just can't even fully imagine. Even though I am not a man, I still got so much from this video. I read the 4th Annual report on MAiD and they have stories in there from providers talking about their patients who have chosen it. Of course one of the examples is a MS patient. I have filled out the form but after this story, I have put it in the recycle bin on my computer. Thank you Brian for being so transparent and vulnerable and telling your story. I love you 3 and am following you all on IG. And I totally believe the presence of CBC filming the last hospital visit, put the hospital in high gear. Thank you again. Finding this channel is just hitting so hard. I have found it at the right time in my life, as I just need to "be around" people who get it! Sorry I'm all over the place, I will blame the humidity and MS brain fog lol
