I Survived the Most Dangerous Bridge in Japan!! // Tokushima, Vine Bridge, Bizan, Iya Valley //
It looks like a prison
Its my dream apartment. Small but can fit everything essential!
If you are still in the apt, the padding you have on the floor, stick it on the walls, it works brilliantly for drowning out the sounds or even buy soundproofing curtains and hang them. Makes a world of difference
It’s wonderful when you are humble in life! Love it!
😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😠😠😠😠😠😠😠
Just found your channel (new subscriber). Thank you so much for sharing your home!🙂
Why so long looking at toilet?
The best feature you don't use being able to dry washing outside, all tiny spaces seen have wet washing inside which leads to condensation, mould and stale smelling clothes. I know because I've lived in flats here in UK with no outdoor space.
We so care chickie, ❤❤❤ your brave and have more balls then most men. They would never leave their land. So GIVE YOURSELF CREDIT ❤❤GODBLESS YOU HONEY
Claustrofobico a dire poco!
Perfekt 🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊
HORRIBLE SHOES !!!!
Hope you make another video soon ! Been enjoying your channel !
Most places dont have garbage disposal systems in sink, I think only in US. We dont throw the food stuff in the sink, it goes in garbage. We just clear the plates of the food waste into the garbage bin before we wash them. I heard these garbage disposal things are not so good, danger of clogging up and creating a mess and bad impact on the environment as a result of that plus the extra water used for the process.
As someone who has used a disposal in the US, I can confirm that they are no good and completely worthless. US should adopt a disposal similar to Japan and other countries. Best place for the waste is the trash
You're saying you dont wash your hands after using the toilet? Lol
Hello, I get similar comments to this and I don’t really understand why…. I always go back and watch what I said in the video and I still don’t understand why people think I don’t wash my hands. Could you explain what led you to think I don’t wash my hands? I have multiple other places for washing my hands in my apartment (kitchen sink and vanity sink where I keep soap) so i don’t know why saying that i don’t use the toilet water spout equates to me not washing my hands. Thanks in advance for your explanation. I look forward to hearing the reasoning behind your assumption 🙂
@@kimberdesuu haha really no offence just the way you worded it that you didn't adopt that habit of washing your hands. Cuz you said "you can wash your hands, I don't, haven't adopted that habit" or something like that I know you meant washing your hands in that sink but the way you worded it sounded different. I know you didn't mean it that way FYI haha
It would be nice having a sofa instead of the bed and a big TV in front of the sofa.
Touching the toilet and then touching all the kitchen is INSANE GROSS
I prefer to use soap when washing my hands 🤷♀️ The toilet is made for rinsing with water, not hand washing.
7:18 I want to know what's in your pantry. I want to know about all the goodies I haven't heard of yet.
That’s a whole separate video, but I’m glad to see some people wouldn’t mind the additional pantry look through 😂 I was never a fan myself so I decided not to show
Fire hazard.
Can you specify what the fire hazard is?
In the UK we don’t have waste disposal systems as a rule, we also only have cold water going into our washing machines but we can still do hit washes as the machine heats the water. Maybe check and see if this is a function in your washing machine? I love the Japanese inventiveness
I had a very basic washer. That could have been the issue. I think my current washer uses hot water 👍
Nobody cares 😂😂😂😂😂
❤️
It's a nice place😊😊😊 I like the patio..
Thanks for watching :)
I have a Japanese toilet and once I took a massive bowel movement. Then I put the water wash flush amount on Tsunami flush mode and they found me two days later in a nearby city swimming for my life cold, hungry and naked. Please people be very careful on the flush mode you select unless you have catastrophic health insurance.
😂
No desk area! But overall it’s lovely and spacious xx
Thanks for watching
Только для молодежи. Одного человека. Два предел
America’s lifespan is 10yrs less than Australia’s.
Ok 👍
Do you have to pay for electricity or heat?
Yes, i paid for electricity. I used electricity to cook, turn on and off the lights, heat and cool the apartment, and heat water in my tub.
What is the JET progeam? Your apartment is cute, but I would need some plants on the balcony, and would add an accent color, with accessories to perk it up!!!
You could even use one of the panels to put things on to watch etc whilst sitting in the other half of the tub
I get that but I think that if we give ourselves not a single minute of time without being stimulated we wouldn't come up with things like shower thoughts when our mind is just thinking random things :)
Wow. I loved your video as it was so incredibly positive. You are finding so many positive aspects to what you have and I suspect this will colour the way you will view the world as you move through life. Your parents should be rightly proud of you and your wonderful attitudes 😁
Locks?? Folks, it's Japan
Yeah, the apartment looks _massive_ compared to others I’ve seen in Japan home tour videos….and cheap too. Many apartments I’ve seem in videos were half the size of this yet the rent was higher. You’re super lucky. 👌💖
so beautiful ❤
Thinking of moving from West Africa, Cameroon with my spouse to Japan.. your challenges are definitely spot on, we'll face that but I doubt if she'll still be interested after listening to this reality. She'll cry just like you if she finds herself unable to communicate because of the language barrier 😂😂. Thanks for sharing
my favorite thing about these bathrooms is the floor drain
I agree. I should have mentioned that in the video. I like that I can clean it easily so that it doesn’t get clogged. Thanks for sharing
It’s a nightmare for me ugh I could never live like that. I pray I never have to.
It doesn’t just happened to someone. I tried really hard to live like this so I think you are safe 😂
The sink area, next to the washing machine i love 👍 The bedroom and bedroom door is great too. I don't know what is wrong with me, but i LOVE these japanese sliding doors/windows 😍😅
So many things to love 😀 thanks for watching
Wow, to think this rates as large. I’m finding myself holding my breath.
It is large for my circumstances. By no means is it the definition of large. Hope that helps you understand a bit better 👍
Walls thin for earthquakes.
I’m not sure those two things are related…. I think buildings that have stronger structural integrity is the main concern. Now if there was a tsunami, that would be different. I don’t think the walls could withstand that much force
Get a piece of wood and put above your hampers, more storage!
It’s a nice thought in theory but I am lazy. I don’t want to move the wood 😂
This is so anti cosy, cold looking and clutttered. . All in all its a horrible place
To each their own 😌🙏
I want to live in this compartment.
Is it necessary to know Japanese? I am currently a homeroom teacher at an international school in my country, where I teach all subjects in English, including Math, English, Global Perspectives, and ESK. My question pertains to international schools in Japan: Is experience and proficiency in English sufficient, or is knowledge of Japanese required? Additionally, what certificates are typically requested?
For an international school with international students, English is the main language. All subjects are taught in English. Every school is different, but the one where my company holds classes at, all the teachers and students speak English. Also keep in mind that I am an English Teacher for a company that teaches english to Japanese students. This position is vastly different from a teacher who is actually certified to teach and has an education in education. I don’t know the experience of those teachers but they require way more than “assistant language teachers” who come to “teach” english in Japan. You may want to do some research of your own since I have no experience as an “actual teacher”. Wish i could be more helpful. Goodluck!
Why do you hate the double doors to the back?? It's your ONLY source of natural light! The othe videos I've seen of these tiny Japanese apts have about 1/4th or less the wondow size and zero outside space. You are so right about being very lucky with your apt size, including a separate bedroom and toilet!! WOW and your kitchen is huge. You hit the lotto. Oh, I also just saw one with one laundry machine - it was both a washer and a dryer in one - about the same size as your washer. Thank you. Learn to love ALL the NATURAL light you have and your connection to the outside world. Believe me when I say you never want to be without that.
Látom, miért nem születnek gyerekek Japánban! Ekkora térben még egy másik emberrel sem lehet élni, gyerekkel meg végképp nem.
I love natural light. It has been awhile since i have seen this video in its entirety but i don’t think i said hate. I may have said i didn’t like it but it is because it does allow for insulation in winter and summer. Much of the cold and heat can be felt through those large windows. That is all :)
Lmao this is just one apartment. I hope you wouldn’t judge all strawberry’s based off of one bad one 😂 All people based off of one person 😂 All movies off of one movie 😂 maybe see a couple more apartments before making a conclusive statement like this
Thanks for information
No problem. Thank you for watching. I hope it was helpful 👍
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
I don't know but seems to me you have all you need and then some. Like the bathroom arrangements in Japan. Very nice. At $ 400 dollars an month is a steal!
It’s really true. It has been great living here
You could grow veg or herbs on your balcony.
You could maybe use the rack on your porch for like hanging plants or something, instead of clothes. For an apartment that small, you might also want to look into space saving ideas like they use in tiny homes, for like extra storage and counters and shelves, etc
She has so much Stuff/extremely cluttered.
I love your small apartment. I wish I could have this in Canada paying only $400/month without having to share it with roommates.
