The Andover (MA) Choral Society is a 65-80 voice SATB community chorus with a mission to provide the highest standard of musical performance to the Merrimack Valley community. The chorus performs two concerts per year, singing a repertoire that focuses on fine choral and choral-orchestral works from the baroque to the 21st century. Since 1929, membership has been open to anyone with a love for great choral music and a desire to share that love with others.

Great performance! I am playing the organ with Pacific Symphony and Pacific Chorale under the direction of Maestro Rob Istad at Segerstrom Hall in May, 2023.
I was at the Segerstrom Hall performance and it was absolutely stunning. I went looking for recordings of the piece and this is the only one I can find online. As nice as this performance is, it was especially exciting to hear the version for orchestra. I am stunned and saddened that I cannot find the orchestral version online, but I feel blessed to have witnessed the Pacific Chorale performance. I'll never forget it.

@Niroshani Seneviratna As another commenter explained, this choir is not British; it is American. Lucifer is not really a word known to American listeners. As well as this, the line "While you've a Lucifer to light your fag" also has "fag" in it, which is now a homophobic slur. Hope this helped!
