Looks like Everyone is waiting for the New Machines 😅👍
Good to see you still have the Drag Bike. I would Love to get my Bike running again. But it looks like it might need to wait until my next life to have time for it 😅👍
I'm not surprised to hear More Machines are coming in. You have definitely got a Nice shop with plenty of space for More Machines😉
We are running out of room now e
@nikolaiownz It's a good problem have 👍. I'm just catching up I what I have missed so you see a few random comments turning up 😉
Great job putting this video together 👍👍
Tak for de rosende ord 🙏
Velbekomme Mark - er super glad for at der findes service som i giver.
If you want to step away from cloud (someone else server) your best bet would be a local NAS/storage server to store and share files. Just make sure to set up a naming scheme for folders with projects. These folders should contain files/folders for received plans/saved emails (with product changes)/CAM program/measurements from CMM (contracts should stored somewhere else).
Good to see you are still busy mate. your tooling organisation looks good, i have been trying to do someting similar for a year but can never find the time to get it done.
Just as long as you dont get your carbide and you toilet paper mixed up :)
wouldent be the first time mate! i hope everythins is good ! :)
Dont get into Esprit. If u can take Hypermill with HyperCad-S. Better and easier Software to get into and much more Flexibility then Esprit TNG.
Well the reason I am looking into other cams in mainly i want to get away from the cloud/subscribtion/konstant updates in fusion. And I think power hill is inside fusion. Also I am already pushing my budget on esprit - power mill is more and its subscriber- esprit we buy and is ours.
@@nikolaiownz I dont mean Powermill. I mean Hypermill(from Open-Mind), you have more functions than Esprit. And its not running in a Cloud aswell
@@Lonli_Val arhh sorry i read that wrong - i might have to check that out. i know about it forsure I just thought i was more for full 5 axis - and these programs gets crazy expensive for full machine simumation for 3+2
@@nikolaiownz In the standard Version there are 3D cycles and 3+2 schould be in the standard package aswell. U can buy Simutanious cycles extra
Yes i defently want a horisontal with pallets one day - i have been looking at a few but havent pulled the trigger
Why did you kick out Fusion? Was there a reason or did you need more functionality?
Why did you kick out Fusion? Was there a reason or did you need more functionality?
We had to many problems with the teams hub, and cloud solution - post processors dident get saved, settings dont get saved, we cant find files, we can find alot of files and dont know what to use. annd being reliable when there is network problems or something like that just hinders to much in out shop. We need a turn key solution.. Also the service from autodesk was so bad i cant even.. i like fusion 360 by inself its just the whole ecosystem that dont fit a shop like us
Why did you kick out Fusion? Was there a reason or did you need more functionality?
Hola amigo A pasa mucho tiempo No vimos más vídeos de tu tienda 🤔
Hey mate - i do plan on doing an update soon - ive just been so busy with all the stuff in the shop lately. :) check out @rotarysmp livestream later today
👍
What software did you decide worked better for you? Happy Easter. Charles
Happy Easter to you mate. I al currently trying to find time to try out esprit. Its a whole differentiere animal but i like it from what I’ve seen and used it.
@@nikolaiownz I used Esprit 20 years ago, just the basic milling version as we didnt have any 5 axis stuff. I did like it, I dont know what it will be like now that Hexagon has purchased it. Glad to see things are keeping you hopping. The devil dances in static souls... Charles
Alas a bit far for me, in Sydney Oz. Post some shorts of the visit if you can.
Thanks for the video content. Much appreciated.

Hi. How to unlock parameters long word in OSP5000?
I don’t know mate 🤕
Good to see the pallet pool running
Hey Nikolai, I asume this is the system you were talking about in Hannover.. nice improvement! My Okuma is still broken..😢 Tried to replace some capacitors on the control print today, but it didn't help. Thanks for the update!
Excellent! Thanks for sharing again. Hope to see more of your son!
Hey man. Thanks hows it going in your shop ? A long time since I checked up on you
Cute kid. :) You are going to get a very friendly Xmas card from Shunk this year! The PH150 system is awesome. Nice one for getting that.
Haha I have used a lot of money on skunk the last year or so
@@nikolaiownz Sure looks like it. How long does it take for a high cost system like that pallet changer to amortise? 3Years?
@@RotarySMP depends on a lot but 3-6 years. Hopefully 3. 😊
You have lots of space. You can still roll carts around your machines :)
Though yours is not
Looks like the kind of job that's either going to just pop off and destroy the tool, dent the table and drop a side panel the SECOND the tool hits it OR hold like its welded in despite it having no right to do so 😅
I hope something is the middel 🤣
big-o chuck of SS! and I had to shazam and then downlead this song as its badass
Yeah its a good song. Very catchy melody
Beautiful
Which cam system are you using now ? nice parts!
Hello mate - we am using fusion for all the machines. And it works great for our use. 👍
@@nikolaiownz Thank you !
I thought at first it was engine cases for a 2 stroke. Hard work but very satisfying I bet!
Haha it could look like it 🤣
Nice tooling and nice parts you are making Nikolai.
Thank you mate 🙏 i hope you are doing good
that job looks like the kinda part I would make and instantly regret taking. At least it's not a 1 off part
Haha its not to bad 🤣
What kind of pallets will the pallet changer be using? Charles
320x320 with shunk vero s zero point
Nice looking setup, glad to see the work is keeping you busy. Charles
Hi Nikolai!i have mazak vqc 15/40 too,you work with cimco edit with mazak?
Yes i did use cimco with it
@@nikolaiownz I myself am just learning to work on Mazak, I bought it for myself in the garage, at the moment, I am waiting for a person to copy the system floppy disk, when buying it turned out that it was not there... If it's not difficult for you, please take a review of how Simcoe works with Mazak in a pair, I have to do it and there is very little information with this machine...Thanks

Hola compañero cómo estás No as vuelto a subir vídeos ACE tiempo ya De tu tienda
Hello my friend - yes sorry but we are abit to busy at the momemt haha - ive been wanting to do an update but just havent had the time. :)
What was the price?
what process used with bronze part bore?
Both turning and milling. 4 ops. Its a fairly complex part to hold the needed tollerances.
What insert did you use?
Hard on the inserts, and on the ears. have a great rest of the week. Charles
With the correct insert and no coolant its not to bad. 👌
What size end mill you were using?
16 mill
@@nikolaiownz I have only used 16mm endmill in aluminium with ER collet chuck with heavy cuts, without pull out. I use Fahrion Präzision collet chucks. Aluminium is easy for holders, steel is different animal :D
@@HH-Machining yes and this was stainless with a dull endmill haha. I know thoes pharion they are great 👌
@@nikolaiownz All ingredients for failure :D
Small ones work ok, but not for roughing..have a great week. Charles
Yup and its Ok when they are good but when they are dull and you run full depth its a found Vad Quick hahaha
I had that problem with a cmx and the rotary union failed for the through spindle coolant about €3k from Dmg for the union but i could probably get the number of the unit on monday i belive it was €950 dellivered from Deublin the original manufacturer.
This was just a check valve that was clogged up
