Yeah I guess you could say the game is “getting better” but it’s like there’s like 3 builds you can make for loud, there’s hardly any original ideas for heists, just feels like all rehashes of their old heists. Golden sharke like big bank, touch the sky like framing frame, green bridge rip off, Ukrainian prisoner rip off, nightclub rip off, an art gallery rip off. Jewelry store rip off. Like I don’t get it because in payday 2 we had insane heists. Oil rigs, big office buildings, a Texas ranch, big mansions, the White House, boats. Like I can go on and on where are all the good heists at in payday 3 lol??? Additionally as you may have heard a lot of people say lots of people hate the balancing of needing the edge and grit skills to do anything. And yeah that’s annoying but you get used to it after a while. Once you get to level 150 there’s no incentive to keep playing after you reach max level. And the armor system is still abysmal but there’s a armor 2.0 coming in December. No one ever had an issue with pd2 or pdth armor so what a dumb change to do for payday 3. And yeah overkill difficulty is way easier than payday 2 dsod or pdth overkill. Any person who gets a little experience with payday 3 can play overkill difficulty. Overall, yeah I’d say wait to be honest. Even if it was on sale you can’t tell me that’s it not just more worthwhile playing payday 2.

@@Crew_Chief_Is_Number1 that’s a shame to hear. I would argue that Payday 2 had a launch with simple heists itself, but perhaps I may be trying to do my best to give PD3 the benefit of the doubt. I’ll definitely wait longer on it and in the meantime, make the most of PD2 when I am up for it. As a side note, what are your thoughts on doing challenge videos in PD2 where you use off-meta builds for either DSOD or even lower difficulties? Like perhaps Yakuza on DW loud (since I feel like DSOD with Yakuza would be absolutely nightmare) or perhaps infiltrator on DSOD (since I think infiltrator might be usable there)? Only suggesting it since PD3 is not really “ready” for content creation.

@@hazmat_ducky3136 I have heard people say that payday 2 had a simple launch, that's true it was more simpler heists but the thing is payday 2 actually brought new stuff to the table, on launch Payday 3 did not. The only thing payday 3 brought was being able to complete stealth heists with no mask on. But guess what? crime boss already had this. Everything else with payday 3 is a rehash of payday 2 or a worse and less fun payday 2. What incentive does payday 3 have over payday 2 to make me want to choose 3 over 2 at any time? you know what I mean? I did have a yakuza solo for go bank at one point but I got rid of it and replaced it with crew chief because of the upload speeds, and I wanted it uploaded on a certain day for Christmas season, since go bank is a Christmas heist. Yakuza is just a worse infiltrator or maniac. I have 11 more payday 2 videos ready to be published and 3 payday 3 videos. But, yeah there's not much to record with payday 3 for sure unless its a solo or a new heist showcase since there's 3 builds basically.

@@Crew_Chief_Is_Number1 valid argument. I’ve only hopped onto Payday 2 within the last year or so, and am not that familiar with its history. I guess we’ll just have to hope for the best for PD3 (or the new game the OG PD2 devs are working on). In the meantime, I’m check out these vids, because they definitely sound interesting. Cheers!

The leveling up weapons to unlock attachments is annoying although could be considered subjective. I have 220 hours on payday 3 since release and that’s purely because of playing with pubs and seeing how much I can killwhore with weapons. Overall if that doesn’t sound like your thing, I’d say wait to be honest. Even if it was on sale you can’t tell me that’s it not just more worthwhile playing payday 2.

Now keep in mind that are for sure rifles that out class that gun but it can still work “good” per say. I always prefer armor over health personally so yeah. That part is really up to you. But to be honest with you the Chansit is not my favorite. I think it dulls in comparison to some of the other dlc weapons. But doesn’t mean it’s not capable.

Now real talk here. Say what you want to about payday 3, but the one thing they didn’t mess up was Houston. I’d say sometimes he’s a little quiet and the mask looks a little awkward but other than that the writing is good, the voice acting is good, the model looks more like the actor, not to mention his suit and fps model looks clean. I wasn’t like a huge Houston fan or anything in pd2 but he’s definitely my main now for payday 3. And yeah Bain will always be number 1 I agree.

Bain died in payday 2, though I’m not sure which ending payday 3 is based on. Either it’s bad, where Bain just dies, or it’s the good one, where he possesses the us president’s body.

why not use the buffs? theres only downsides to not using them and no one is judging you for using them. And really wont make you any less of a worse player IMO. I would use ai just because its helpful enough even if you had to swan song through the heists (if desperate) but eitherway they can be helpful enough assuming you put an lmg weapon on them. so overall I would recommend the ai because they are quite tanky and can get kills for sure and will help you get that dsod done, but you could also try it out and see how you feel about it.

@@gaipiro1787 some weapons just work better with auto fire this gun in the video is an example of that. Because of the ammo pick up rate and overall damage out put you get more use of firing this gun at full auto. Now a gun like the little friend (solo with that coming out in roughly 1 week) that gun does not benefit from auto fire, that is a single fire gun, but can still be used efficient granted the player knows what they are doing with said gun. For your second question the reason there is auto fire modifications is because if you put that on the gun then you can’t select single fire but in turn it gives your weapon more stats. What is it I can’t even remember it says like more damage or something right but at a minus accuracy. To be honest there’s never really a use for it unless your gun is 100 stability 100 accuracy at least from my perspective. It’s not really worth the 2 damage unless it breaks some sorta breakpoint which then that’s where you lose me because I couldn’t tell you one gun that benefits from +2 damage. So yeah overall autofire recommended on everything, but single fire can still work depending on the gun, and the autofire modification for weapons is basically useless.
