So, are you saying we should pray to Jesus? Is that not the same as praying to Mohammed, or Krishna, Buddha, or basically any other form? The first commandment clearly states that there is only God the creator. Why do people pray to Jesus and not to God?

“I expect you to live a sinless life?” I would hope he’s read his Bible and would be able to quote 1. Who’s fallen short of the glory of God 2. What Paul’s message was when he said “o wretched man that I am”

When someone uses a million examples to deflect from the core gospel, it’s simple; they hate that which is required of them. What they don’t understand is that what is required is belief that Christ rose from the dead, and did it to take your place at judgement day, to stand in the gap for you. All the rest will come later

Good to see Christian men together sharing the honest truth of faith. Here is my point gentleman. First you must know the word of God and be able to properly explain it to all. Second, you must be in a state of grace or striving to be in that state. Unconditional election IS NOT BIBLICAL. GOD KNOWS who is going to be saved but it's because THEY HAVE CHOSEN GOD, not because God has fixed it that way .

I generally hold to unconditional election but “look down the tunnels of time” is a misleading way to describe foreknowledge as every second of time is immediately present to God. It is as though he is looking at unraveled film. He is outside of time. The foreknown faith view does put too much weight on the creature but does not negate divine omniscience in any way.

Except that a lot of people talking about the telephone game in this context are talking about the oral traditions before the texts or manuscripts were written. In the case of the Gospels for example the earliest written Gospel in the Bible is Mark. But we know Mark was not the first written source and we know that before written sources these stories were being spread by word of mouth. Now maybe that's still not a game of telephone but the point remains the same, we don't know how the stories might have changed and evolved in the interim before things started to get written down. And we do know, in the real world, that legends and apocryphal stories about people can very easily spring up in seemingly no time. What we definitely don't know is that people can miraculously rise from the dead and so the idea that these are legends seems far more plausible.

I love sharing Genesis to those who do not know anything about who Jesus is, our sin issue, wages of sin is death, the law then Jesus death, burial, resurrection and what that means for those who humbly want to know the truth. 6 day creation is about as silly as it gets. Noone should believe this. The earth is billions of years old.

This is fabulous!! Some great evangelism tips and stories, and cool seeing you bring Eddie on. Love how you talk about putting together an evangelism team. One thing the Lord brought to our team was a few prayer warriors to find a spot somewhere around where we are going to evangelize and pray for us while we're out!
