Honestly this year the chargers exceeded the win total. Yes Ladd is good but Ladd the only real passing option for Herbert. He’s been the only real consistent receiving option for herb this year. Everyone else was bad. Herbert’s numbers are down this year I truly don’t believe it’s even his fault. Ladd is a slot receiver, QJ is the x. Mike will was the x for herb previously which should say a lot. Qj is 6’4 like mike but mike is a True 50/50 ball receiver. Everyone on his previous teams could catch contested balls, this year josh Palmer had the best ability to do so. Everyone else has to be thrown open. Plenty of times herb would look off a receiver and go to a less desirable pass, why because he doesn’t trust his receivers to make catches. The chargers are a run- first team because of this but when a team stops the run then herb to be Superman, yea he made some bad throws no denying that. What would you do in a sudden death elimination game when you can’t get your team to click? Start forcing shit. The argument that they should have gotten another receiver isn't a good one. They have no leftover cap this year. We knew going into the year that we couldn't get a good receiver to pair with Ladd. Next year we will have close to $100 million in cap and can get one.

I doubt any of those people mentioned would come to LV as coach because of the QB and draft position to get a QB. Couple questions: If you've never been directly coached by AP, how do you truly know whether or not he's an X's and O's guy? The Vikings are not trading JJ and why would the Raiders give all that up for a guy who is unproven in the NFL and coming off of a bad knee injury? If you question whether or not JJ can compete with Mahomes, Herbert and Nix in the division, what's the point of trading for him? Winston and Fileds certainly aren't going to compete with the other QB's in that division so, if I were them and I couldn't get a quality QB in this year's draft, I'd just play it out with AOC, build the rest of the roster and look to the next year's draft for the QB. There's no point in spinning your wheels and wasting resources.

Like what Bo Nix is doing but I’d still take JD, DM and Caleb over him. It’s not just the stats you have to take into account. It’s the coaching and team around them that matters exponentially. Maye is ridiculous what he’s doing considering what’s around him. JD is proving he has enough reps and experience to take on an NFL play book and thrive, albeit with a tremendous supporting cast. Lastly, if you’ve followed Caleb and a what he’s done with a competent play caller, you’d know his ceiling is the highest. He’s made some throws only a handful of QB’s in the league can make and he’s at times dragged his team to stay competitive against the Packers, Vikings and Lions all of which if not for coaching his team wins and he’s looked at differently. Not to mention he out played JD in the stretch and brought his team back to win only for his incompetent coach to give that game away. Again all with instability and incompetence a surrounding him. I suggest you go watch those games in their entirety and watch how he alone has done his part to stay competitive. Still like Bo Nix but better than Maye and JD? Nah! Chiefs this year are not the same either. Giving too much credit to a Chiefs team that almost lost and has the most one possession wins this season.
