Cracking band and performance......dreadful camera work
Love watching the Cadet Force Pipes and Drums. Someday, someday, someday I will see, hear them live. Folks, I live in Highland CA, US citizen, an American of Mexican descent, and I love how these kids carry themselves with wonderful unison, pride. Yep, someday, someday.
Here are the words - LA BOUM ECOSSE ( The Scottish Party) "When the sun goes down on the dark side With your friends all far away All alone in a crowd With your heart so proud As the pipes begin to play. Camera work and audio pretty crap-very disappointing
Excellent sound and so young. Tremendous.and in not so good weather
Musical skills outstanding wow brilliant be proud of yourself guys and ladies job well done stand easy.
Such proficiency from such young musicians. Future World Pipe Band Champions perhaps. Thank you for sharing.
Sorry for my question, but we dont have this Kind of tradition in Germany. Are these kids kadets of a military school ? Or how does it work?

The turnout and marching was incredibly disciplined. That's matching the standard of Guards regiments.

Some good looking tenor drums here. That alone is uncommon. No wonder the camera man cant get away from them.

Nice job if you can get it, stand back and record female drummers, nice camera work.
Fist time using my new camera lol and did it because all other videos concentrate on the pipers and not the tenor drummer plus makes it easier to learn the songs for new cadets

Heya, I'm hopefully going up this year as a piper:) I know around 60 tunes of-by-heart however not many in your tune list and I cant really read music.. how bad is the experience going to be for me? :P plus how hard is it to get the gold badge? Many thanks Oskar:) (Devon and Somerset)
hi Oskar i have heard of you lol from laser band by someone and have seen you on a couple of outube vids i think playing pipes, one thing you need to be able to do is read music to a good ish standard but you can go though by learing ll the tunes by hear and playing them really good when you get up there you can get all the music from this link armycadets.com/become-a-cadet/what-youll-do/piping-and-drumming/music-sheets/ they also have lessons online what is on this link armycadets.com/become-a-cadet/what-youll-do/piping-and-drumming/lesson-plans/ i hope these will help dude and why don your tenor drummers come up as well. and to get the gold badge you need to of have payed in the corps pipes and drum band at inverness or when we do events like lord mayors show in london and last year we did one with the sea cadets it is really fun, get to meet new cadets from all over the uk, the army cadet arnt that bad too just make sure that you just espect them then they will respect you lol. i hope this elped if you need more hep then just drop me a reply.
Aircadet354 cheers mate:) yeah im not brilliant but im willing to learn! :P Im hopefully bringing one of my tenors with me.. saves me travelling up on my own ;) But yeah im really looking forward to it, just waiting to see if I we get a place now!!

No, as I am the only person in the squadron that does pipes and drums.
um OK then sorry for the late replay been busy with cadets lol and you can still go i know that couple do come from northern Ireland if you put something on you know you have been a air cadet to long when page they might replay with something
um i dont know. i only go up once a year for the camp and that is in April but im not going up next year as im doing another band event at the time this camp. wish i knew if there was but i dont sorry.
