The blue carbon boards for 2024 come with a light cover but all surf bags are sold separately.

A board under 9' is usually ok to fly with. Check out the infinity RNB, starboard wedge, and NSP DC surf wide. They are sub 9' boards that still have around 140-150L of volume. They very stable easy compared to a "performace" shape board with lower volumes but still offer great agility due to shorter length. The only draw back is they're slower to Paddle than a longboat but that's the sacrifice you have to make for travel.

I bet the 9x26 pivots like a dream. My go to is the 10x29 longboard, we had a 10x27 Infinity new deal for a while and it's superfast but a little too low volume for heavier days here in NorCal

It was!

It depends on what you want to get out of your board. Are you trying to go faster or do you want something that you can downwind surf? Regarless of the board shape dropping down to a 24.5 or 23 will get you more speed and better control in surf. The RST is great as its a Swiss army knife, it excells in Downwind, flat water, and beach conditions can't go wrong with it.

Hi there the Lima is nice paddle for the price but it is not on the same level as the BP Hydro series. The lima is like the Camery paddle and the Synergy is a Corvette in terms of performance and quality

Hi I'm the guy in the video. A full layer of primer, paint, and and clear coat adds lot of weight on a 14' board. We all know weight is a big selling factor with race board so they try to add as little as possible. It's not good to NOT paint a carbon board just to save lbs as the paint protects the carbon from UV damage. So the thin matte finish is a compromise between weight and protection. Hope that sheds some light on the "distressed paint" trend.
