The project involved replacing the KY 152 Kennedy Mill Bridge over Herrington Lake, constructed in 1924 and spanning 800’ total. The bridge was part of a $7.5 million project to build the Dix Dam and create Herrington Lake in 1925. I was born at this hospital..."82", along with many other family and friends. It's sad to see that it's gone. Many many memories there. 💙 💜

They had to halt demolition because of the underground tunnels. They used the satellite contract as an excuse.
