That opening with Sofia and some other cast members was filmed at styvasent high school in manhattan I use to do deliveries there I would always think about the great another world the greatest show on earth besides GL and ATWT sorry ringling brothers every time I would go to that school to drop something off there. But I do wish the show kept the 1981 - 87 theme song such a powerful and iconic even my family knew what I was watching every time that classic theme song would play. And they hated daytime but once that song would play they just knew that I was watching AW. They didn’t even have to ask what I was watching

It’s to bad that we lost Doug Watson as Mac just imagine if Mac was presumed dead and he came back when Carl and Rachel just started to hook up just imagine a Carl Rachel and Mac triangle I don’t think there has ever been a triangle involving older characters let alone longtime soap vets. I think it would’ve been even more popular than the cass Kathleen and Frankie triangle which was very well written. The Carl Rachel Mac thing would’ve probably help the ratings I think it would’ve been just as popular as the Alice Steve Rachel story. By the way I’m hoping that I read the article the wrong way but I read recently that P+G is behind the brand new soap the gates which will air on cbs so these knuckleheads who weren’t really into the daytime genre which threw away guiding light. As the world turns another world search for tomorrow Texas somerset the edge of night and other P+G soaps all of a sudden have a change of heart and now want to produce a brand new soap after throwing away there best soaps the best soaps in daytime especially AW GL ATWT as well as SFT if this is true and I read the article correctly I may or may not watch the new show. I’m still mad at proctor and gamble daytime just isn’t the same anymore the four that are left are not really as classy as those former shows. No more Bauer barbecue no more Cory holidays or the Hugh’s or the Snyder clan all coming together for there holiday gatherings nope just devil possessions on days and the bully victor Newman never paying the price for his actions over on the young and the restless and the very horrendous writings on the unwatchable the bold and the beautiful and general hospital continuing to be like the sopranos or the god father. So sad

I liked all of the actresses who played Josie but I miss the original actress who played Josie. Both Alexandra Wilson and Matt crane had very good chemistry together.
