Many people find it difficult at higher level to get big loot with lots of gold+elixr in Clash of Clans. specially, when you are at TH level 9, you will need 5M+ gold for most of the defensive building upgrades & 6M+ Elixr for troops research. I found this strategy worked for trophy level 1500-1950 while you're at TH9. if you're below TH9, you might not want to use that much D.Elixt just to get Gold& Elixr. but if you're higher level TH8 player, you may want to save Gold+Elixr for upcoming TH9 upgrade.
