Steps interview on K-TV
This was an interview broadcast live in South Africa on K-TV on the 22 January 2000.
There was a segment where they showed the "Better The Devil You Know" performance which had to be cut so this interview could be uploaded. That performance is on the official Steps Vevo ruclips.net/video/Xl-deXhe1-0/видео.html
Performance of "Say You'll Be Mine" is left in since it didn't cause issues with uploading.
No copyright infringement intended.

This is from the English dub of Gigi and the Fountain of Youth from 1985. For some reason this song always gets to me and makes me sad, then the middle cheers me up, and then I'm sad again. And lol to the mouth sync, I checked the Japanese version, the sync is bad there too. xD Gigi has a magical wand that can turn her into an adult (she's actually a child).

This is all random nonsense, so it's not fair to critsize this. I made this in April 2007. I made this during a difficult time, so it's basically a bunch of twaddle thrown together to another song I think is called "Are Am Eye" by Commander Tom, I found on a Bump CD (can't be sure). Final Fantasy XII was used. Amazingly this was made with Windows Movie Maker in Windows XP Pro, and it only crash...

Before, I wanted to know who sang this song from the American version! But, according to what I researched, the voice that dubbed Momo (Gigi) from the American version was the voice actress Rebecca Forstadt! So, in short, she sang this song! Very beautiful!🥺💖
I think this was sung by Lisa Michelson. She was the voice actor for Gigi, when she was transformed.
(She was also the voice for Mr. Dragon, in the film)

Oh my word! I remember this interview SO well after all these years. Steps seemed to be regulars on K-T.V. during the promotion of "Steptacular". If I remember correctly, H was a guest on his own at one point. I also think that, around this time, Steps performed at Centurion Mall, which is very near where I live. I was gutted I couldn't see them live. I cannot thank you enough for uploading this. I honestly thought I'd never get the chance to see it again.
I am so glad that I was able to share this and you could enjoy it again! I lived far away, in the Eastern Cape when Steps did this interview and perfomed. Too bad neither of us could see them live. Steptacular was quite a big thing, I remember You magazine had an article on them too! You are very welcome! ^_^

Not really. It's more closely related to Dutch than German.
Say, have there been any Disney movies dubbed into Afrikaans?
Sadly no. No Disney movie was ever dubbed into Afrikaans, even though there is Disney storybooks published in Afrikaans with all the names changed and everything, but there are no dubs. The only things that were dubbed into Afrikaans was a handful of animes from the 70's and 80's. Also very few sitcoms like Alf was dubbed into Afrikaans.
What about any western animation shows?
None of them were really dubbed into Afrikaans --> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_South_African_television_series The only Western animated show I can remember being dubbed into a South African language was Biker Mice from Mars, it was dubbed into either Xhosa or Zulu, but no one seems to have footage of it, yet people remember it.

I was 7 when I first saw this, and this song will always be an emotional one for me. I remember also wanting to be like Gigi. I agree, I'm not sure if this film has been released to DVD. I just have an old original VHS my mom bought me from a bargain bin in 1994. I transferred it to a DVD a few years back.

I loved that film when I was a young girl, and I used to listen to that song a lot. It makes me sad only when I realize how hard it can be to reach for the dreams. The whole film is a bit sad although it has a so called happy ending. I do recommend :)
